My wife and I love this place. We always get the spicy miso ramen and the soy garlic chicken wings. Make sure you thoroughly mix up this ramen before partaking as the spice may get you. Be careful with the wing’s as they are piping hot when they come to the table.

The Vegetarian Gyoza is very well constructed with lovely plating and presentations. Good and fair pricing – overall, I paid around 6 dollars with tax and tip for the Gyoza. They have very lovely eats with a great atmosphere to back the vibes up. There was some pushback about me sitting, but as someone who has worked in service; given the time at which I sat down, this is understandable.

Food: I ordered the Shio Ramen, which is made with chicken and dried seafood broth, topped with Egg, Pork Chasu, Leek, Seaweed, Bamboo Shoots, and Dried Scallop Powder. I’ve been to Menya and Sheng ramen and feel that this ramen isn’t quite there compared to those, but I enjoyed it! My feedback is that I felt that the ramen was a little undercooked, too tough in my opinion. The Pork Chasu was a little dry, I tend to like it with more moisture. Other than that, it was great!

My visit was great! The place looks nice, with a manga wall and great music to eat too. We got the spicy miso ramen and Korean fried chicken and it was amazing even had leftovers. Appetizers were nice too. The service was amazing!

Roppongi Ramen Bar is an adorable little hidden gem in Charlotte. This place had the most affordable dishes I’ve seen in a while! Even if the food wasn’t good; it was worth the price. But in all seriousness the food is amazing. The broth of the ramen wasn’t salty at all. The bowls are extremely filling. If you like it a bit spicy ask for some chilli oil. It’s a small menu but has tons of great options and even one or two dishes can be altered for vegetarian or vegn consumers.

Roppongi is a solid addition to the Monroe area of Charlotte. It’s in a small strip mall by Cinemark and seating consists of a few tables and a window counter.

We’ve tried a few Ramen shops in Charlotte, and so far this is hands down our favorite. Before, our go to was mostly Silverlake (which they’ve spun out to CLT from LA). But this is another level.

I came with a small group of people on February 17th and I asked for water no ice and with some lemon and the waitress brought my drink with some ice and no lemon. I again had to ask for some more water with no ice and finally she brought that. I needed water refills several times and it never happened but one time. I ordered the 20 pc wings and told the waitress to make my order spicy and it was not spicy at all the way I asked and I told the waitress I wanted all wings and was brought some flats…if she can’t remember my order and ignore all of my requests at least have the decency to write down my order or repeat after me to make sure she understood my order correctly. The wings didn’t even taste all that great and weren’t too flavorful. Also ordered the veg gyrzo and it wasn’t good and very small portion not worth the money. The fried sweet potatoes that came with my order of wings and flats weren’t very good either very disappointed with this visit. I will not be back.

It is a small and cute restaurant. It was my first time trying this place since I was from out of town me and my guest had the vegetarian ramen and gyoza. The food was alright, but definitely not the best ramen I had. Also first time I’ve seen a restaurant use dixie plates to serve food on.
