Ate here with out of town co workers for the first time. I was a little nervous when I walked in and the place was empty. We ordered a number of appetizers and entrees for the table and the overall consensus was the food was decent but not the best. The egg flour soup was real bland, not a fan. Crab Rangoon were good, vegetable roll was decent, the chicken feet were pretty flavorful. I was most disappointed in my entree of honey walnut shrimp, not in the taste but the price and the amount of food I got. It tasted good but I believe I get more at Panda Express than they served. I believe it was definitely overpriced for what you get. We may try again but not anytime soon.

All the food was so good. And the service was great. The servers were constantly on the lookout for any needs we might have. All the food was so fresh and beautifully seasoned. There was a very nice mix of seemingly authentic dishes for the more adventurous and some more familiar dishes for the less adventurous. We ordered somewhere in the middle, and it was perfect. I’ve had a hard time finding good Chinese food in Reno, and this didn’t disappoint. The last time I had Chinese this good was in Sacramento. Highly recommend.

We just had dinner here and I was extremely impressed. My son had the calamari appetizer and he said it was the best dinner he’s ever had. My other son ordered the tangerine chicken and it was delicious. We ordered the dim sum sampler. Everything was amazing but hands down my favorite was the steamed buns. Will definitely be going back. Food and service was incredible. I can’t wait to try the honey walnut shrimp next time.

The food was amazing. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The flavors were beyond tasty, with a quality unmatched by anything I’ve had in Reno or sparks this far. The food was top quality too, not skimping on portion sizes. The location is very convenient for shopping of all kinds. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

I think the food was better than most places in the area, with the convenience of being located at the mall in Sparks. I thought the staff was friendly and a little talkative; I make it a point to engage the staff and be friendly towards them. I enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken which had bright flavors, we enjoyed the little pork dumplings a lot–I could have snarfed another plate of them easy. The Fried Rice plate was enormous! Tasted like homemade (my good friend makes great fried rice so I know about good rice) and we took boxes home to have for lunch the next day. Prices are in-line with other dining options nearby. Opening just this year CaiE Oriental Asian Bistro has yet to build a solid customer base, but I plan on being a regular here. If you’re nearby, definitely give it a try. 4.5-Stars for the food: Maybe you could find better, maybe not.

This place is probably one of the best places to get Chinese food in this town. Prices are high so know that before going in. The quality of the food justifies the price so save up to have a great date night. However the lunch menu is pretty affordable.

We went at noon on a Monday in mid-March 2023. The place was empty! Very nice, big restaurant. Staff was kind. The lunch specials are under priced. The food was very high quality. The 4 people in our party that ate there that day were very impressed. We’ll be going back. I want to try some of the dishes I didn’t get to try yet.

The good: Shanghai mini steamed buns were tasty, but probably should be served with soup spoons. Would definitely order these again. The sticky rice was also quite tasty. Chow Mein was very good. Would order that again. I’m not generally a fan of spring rolls, but these were good. The staff were quite nice and provided the appropriate amount of attention.

Our favorite things were the egg rolls (we got chicken, it was juicy and not greasy, and super flavorful), the crab rangoons, and the fried sweet egg custard buns (regular egg custard buns but fried, wow were they incredible). Will be returning again, a good price for dim sum
