This place had no mustard for the corn dog nuggets! They said they only have honey mustard. Sounds like they cater more for the chicken nuggets. Bring your own I guess or from other places. The staff was pleasant.

Brutal. Waited over 20 mins for food. Get it home and it’s terrible. The burger was falling apart and soggy from I don’t know what. Asked for no onions, ton of onions on it. Both my kids did not get a drink and someone got mashed potatoes instead of fries. Disgusting food, horrible wait and the order was wrong. Will never go back. Will be telling everyone how gross it is. 38 dollars worth of garbage food.

I am HUGE fan of the fact that they’ve gone back to making their root beer in-house with pure cane sugar. This is the creamy-textured root beer you remember from before high fructose corn syrup took over. Bonus: this location charges far less for a gallon than downtown, is open way later, and has a drive thru. (I do love the vintage vibe of the downtown location tho.)

A&W is like a hidden fast food gem who deserves more credit. They dont advertise and they have been around for a long time. Their Papa Burger is pretty darn good. There fries aren’t bad, but could be improved (see Wendy’s) and they have root beer floats! I ordered the cheese curds which are great if they are not over fried which happened to me! I also asked for no pickles and then verified he heard me and then there were pickles on my burger! So frusttrating! Two stars for screwing up an easy order! But I’m not mad… I’ll be back! Maybe just not this one…

This has to be the worst fast food place I’ve ever been to. Only reason I didn’t leave a few minutes after getting there is because I had a broken ankle and I’d made the effort to hobble in there, I was staying! The floors and tables were all incredibly messy, didn’t look like they had been cleaned all day. Several customers were complaining about their food being burnt. Ours came burnt too. They didn’t look understaffed to me, but who knows… either way, I will never go back to this location.

This place is terrible! Every single time the wait is long and everyone is very unorganized. I ordered a chili dog and there was more chili all over the bag they gave it to me in than on the actual food. the hotdog was hard to chew because it had obviously been cooked hours earlier.in the bathroom it says “employees must wash their hands before returning to work” in at least 2 separate places BUT the soap dispenser had broken off the wall and was laying on top of the towel dispense unusable. So employees are washing their hands with just water. disgusting! I through my food away and won’t be returning.

Everything was wrong with my visit. The counters and tables were extremely dirty. There were splash marks on the wall near where I was sitting and as I was wondering why, I stuck my straw into my root beer float (because they didn’t give me any spoons) and it bubbled up and spouted root beer all over me and the table. They forgot to give me my burger and the sauce that my friend’s chicken tenders were supposed to come with. And when I asked for it, the cashier was super impatient with me. 10/10 never recommend. I’d rather go to the one in Downtown Modesto.

It was pretty alright, for cheap high food on a Tuesday it’s pretty great cuz you have a 2 for 1 papa burger special which is pretty much a double big Mac without the extra bun, the cheese curds were 4 outta 5 they were an easy highlight, fries are good but were cold. Overall if your high enough this is a filet mignon sandwich.
