Food is good. I had take out and the cauliflower bites were delicious. The hot mango sauce that comes with it is amazing and super spicy! I also had the bean pupusa which was very good. I like the size & that it came with the coleslaw/salad on top. Also went in for lunch, the service was a bit slow considering there were only 3 other tables but it seemed like the waitress was also playing bartender. Drinks were good. Their chips & salsa are fun cause they’re big, round, fried tortillas. Very good. Location is in prime spot and it’s upstairs so kind of away from the chaos of Main Street during the summer which is nice. Will be back.

Matt and his staff from Barito are amazing! I was able to pull off a “Taco ‘bout a Baby” themed baby shower thanks to them! The food was amazing, all of our guests raved about it and they also made me a fun teal colored alcoholic punch for our guests to suit the theme of this baby boy shower! They were so gracious to allow me time to set up ahead of time with the cutest combination of baby and taco themed balloons from HopPopCreations with a specific area for our adorable cake from Sweet Eats by Rita and gift table which was so needed and perfect! Can’t wait to go back now that the weathers nice.. the location is also prime! After we walked around the town of port Jefferson, did some shopping, went down by the water and walked to the best park and homemade ice-cream place for the kids! Thanks again, Barito! We will be back!

Good food, absolutely the worse horrible service and the place had a 1/3 of its tables empty so there is no excuse, people were leaving after sitting there waiting forever . Even after pointing it out politely nothing changed and the problem was just ignored. I Will give them a second chance

We hosted a dinner for 14 people followed by drinks afterwards. The staff was super attentive, and professional. The food was amazing! All our guests were happy from the appetizers, to the dinner, all the way to the most delicious dessert empanadas. The selection of drinks to order didn’t disappoint either … with my favorite being the spicy margarita.

I’ve been here to Barito twice now for dinner, and was impressed on both occasions! The first time I got a variety of tacos, and the second time, a pork belly burrito, all of which were delicious. Of course, their drinks are great too! Great place for a margarita and great Mexican food!

My Boyfriend and I came here for date night and omg, the food was delicious. I order shrimp tacos which were to die for and he got a combination of 3 tacos; Carnitas, chicken and steak, he said they were delicious. I also ordered a Hibiscus margarita light because I’m not much of a drinker and it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and the place is nice and clean. Try it out if you are around here!!
