This was not our first time here, but this was the BEST experience we’ve had. The servers/workers were super friendly & accommodating of our special requests. The food came quickly and was exactly as we had ordered it. The servers continually checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, refilled our drinks, and even made suggestions for sauces that would go well with our meals. The food is AMAZINGLY delicious. We got the pancake which is perfection, the cinnamon roll which is delightful, and bacon with home fries which were also on point!

Wow… So, I’ve driven past this place a million times and I thought it was just a restaurant that served yummy (unhealthy lol) food with a cool name. Boy was I wrong. We randomly decided to try them this morning and we were both totally blown away. First off, I was wrong about what the name means lol. The story behind this restaurant is beyond inspiring and the food was absolutely to die for. We both tried the country fries steak meal. The portions are huge, the sausage gravy was some of the best we’ve ever had. Since it was our first time they brought us some fresh home made donuts. You HAVE to try the maple bacon donut. In addition to an awe inspiring story and amazing food, the staff was wonderful and the service was fast. I felt like I was sitting at home in the kitchen eating with family. We will absolutely 100% be back and I will tell everyone I know that they have to check this place out.

We have heard great things about the food here. However; after walking in we didn’t even stay to eat. It was just very unclean and an unappetizing place to eat. My husband was actually the first one to suggest leaving which never happens. I did rate some stars because I love that it’s a non profit and the whole purpose behind it. You pay what your comfortable paying!

Just had the best country fried chicken breakfast ever. The chicken was breaded and crispy even under the gravy. The potatoes were fried just the way I like them, and my eggs were perfect. The staff was amazing, and I have been around the country as an over the road truck driver. I challenge anyone to go there, and leave hungry.

First timer here, and so glad! The atmosphere was welcoming, staff was super friendly and the food! I had the breakfast burrito. I do not think there are enough characters left for me to describe how good it was! So much food, leftovers for breakfast tomorrow! Highly recommended!

Absolutely great attentive staff, massive portions, was eating off of it for 3 days. I got the Chicken Benny i believe, quality chicken, and the gravy was spectacular, I would eat it like soup if it wasn’t frowned upon. In fact when i got home i did eat that gravy like soup, and im not ashamed of it either. It was everything i dreamed it would be. Have been 3 times so far and food always ready fast and quality is on point. They tables are a bit sticky and need to be refinished, but with food this good i would eat it off the floor.

Home cooking with a mission! I went here for brunch & really liked the food & their mission to give back to the foster care community. Brunch options were tasty, especially loved the cinnamon roll.
