First time going to Papadops, Saturday July 29th, 2023. The restaurant was easy to find and the food was good. I’d say an 8 out of 10. Good but not exceptional. Service was excellent. Our table for two was in the front room on the left. The restaurant was burning up inside. It was packed and the air conditioner was far from adequate. Our poor server had sweat running down her face. Everyone was fanning themselves with their menu. What a shame that is was so hot that we couldn’t enjoy or meal. Couldn’t wait to get in our air conditioned car. The place is old which adds to its charm but be prepared to be very uncomfortable unless you get to sit under the fan. Hopefully the restaurant is more comfortable in the fall or when the temperatures outside are milder.

We arrived 1/2 an hour early and no issues with seating us. Others have written poor reviews. We found it to be pleasant and quaint restaurant with amazing food. Limited beer menu you can BYOB if you choose to. My wife had the Filet medallions. They were amazing.

This was my second trip to this restaurant and my last. Half of what’s on the menu is not available, the waitress said it’s because they are changing the menu but that’s a common thing everyone complains about going there. Everything you select isn’t available.

Truly a hidden gem, this place is about as far out as can be. But definitely worth the drive. This chef knows how to cook. We’ve been at least half a dozen times and never has been a bad anything. If you’re in the Morristown/Newport/Greenville or just want a great meal then check this place out. Definitely won’t be disappointed.

Been here twice and each time the meats (rib eye and sirloin) have been ok but not stellar as I had heard. I have tried a taste of shrimp and a Tuscan chicken pasta dish and they were both good, the sides have been good as well(soup is very good). Service has always been top notch and the outside seating is great. I will go back again and give something else a try

My wife and I were in the area for a weekend getaway and our host at the Airbnb recommended CJ’s. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We each ordered a 12 oz steak and it was so delicious!!! All the food we got was delicious, everything from our appetizer to our salad to our sides and our steak. I would definitely go back! Also, our waitress was wonderful and took such good care of us. It was money well spent!

The patio is delightful and food is delicious. BYOB, cash discount and consider some bug spray if you’re going to enjoy the patio.

Very off the beaten path locals restaurant. Homwy environment, beautiful porch seating area, it was raining hard the day we visited so we couldnt enjoy that. Food is good. It’s like Greek/Italian/American. The “potato patch” is very good but do pay attention to the wording it is A singular potato cake.
