Had a very good experience dining at Samurai. Went for lunch and they have good lunch specials. They give you soup and salad. I got beef teriyaki and it was great. My husband got the chicken and steak hibachi lunch. Really enjoyed it. If in the area, I would definitely go back.

This place was awesome. We had gyoza and sushi appetizer that were good. We each got a sushi roll, one Gulfport roll and two create your own. The rolls were huge and really fresh. The wasabi sauce was tasty but a weird dark green that was unappetizing. Overall was really good sushi.

Always a great experience here. I went for lunch on a Friday. They were slow so I got in and out. My requests were met and they did not disappoint! We have never had a bad meal here, even when they are busy. A must try!

I want to like this place more, mainly because it’s the only sushi restaurant that I know of around here that not only has mackerel, but on HH special. But none of the sushi has ever lived up to expectations, it’s just ok. I don’t come here for ok sushi, there are closer cheaper places for that. And it’s not that it’s not fresh, I’ve sat at the sushi bar. The staff has mostly been exceptional. Last time I even got a comp krab appetizer for no apparent reason. There may have been once or twice where I got forgotten about, but I’m always solo so whatever. There’s just to be that extra umami I’m not getting. I’ve also heard other customers have inappropriate conversations on multiple occasions. Not their fault but sux when it’s the middle of your meal. I’ll still come back, I want to try their ramen, but I need to find somewhere else to satisfy my saba craving.

I somehow always want sushi when it’s midday closing break time for the other restaurants, so I frequent Samurai a lot. It has everything you desire: raw fish, poke, happy hour, hibachi, etc. Their fish quality satisfies me and I always leave full and happy.
