This is the best Denny’s that I have visited! We are currently driving across the country and Salina is the best one we stopped at! Our Hostess was Cheri and she was like a breath of fresh air. You could really tell that she is dedicated to and passionate about her job. Every interaction we had with her was incredibly personal which is hard to find these days. Overall, this place deserves a 6 star rating if there were such a thing .

The waitress was great. Informative but not pushy. Patient and attentive (kept track of our drinks and when we were about ready to decide on dessert). The place was packed yet we didn’t have to wait for our table and the food was served within a short time. I HIGHLY recommend this Denny’s.

I have a service dog and handicap plate , I have never felt as uncomfortable as I did in this restaurant as we were being seated a manager came to our table introduced herself and then her attitude was aggressive, she asked what was my disability something I have never been asked and was told that it was against the law for anyone to ask , well I suffer from panic attack seizures and now I understand why people are not supposed to ask as I have suffered anxiety and near attacks every time I think of this, and how not only unwelcome it made me feel but her tone was such like she didn’t believe me my family kept me in good spirits after she gave a spill of rules to having my much needed fur companion in her Dennys. The food was good but none of us felt welcome and we just wanted to get our food to go and leave after the manager told me I could not pet my own dog it was disgusting honestly, if I was alone with just me and my dog they would of been loading me in an ambulance.

When I came in yesterday, there was this all too familiar atmosphere. That subtle disdain I felt could be dismissed as the locals not knowing who I am since I’ve never been in there before. As I was seated and waited on by a lovely young woman, it made the experience better. Today was a whole different story. The same disdain continued on from yesterday, though I hoped since I patronized the establishment the previous day, it would at least lessen. Unfortunately, it was worse. I was seated and began to look at the menu when, a few minutes after I was seated, a party of 5 was seated. They were immediately attended to while I remained unnoticed. When ten minutes went by and I still wasn’t attended to, I decided it was time for me to leave. I didn’t think it was up to me to get the attention of the server when the restaurant was not busy, and I admittedly stuck out like a sore thumb. I can only attribute the clear lack of desire to serve me as a product of the disdain I stated before..which was this is a whites only establishment, you can be a person of color working there but please don’t come in as a clear person of color to be served..you will be disappointed..*note: the manager watched the entire situation and was the manager on duty the previous day and did absolutely nothing but smile in my face as I walked out, which confirms my assumption that only whites are welcome at this restaurant. UPDATE: After speaking to Melissa about the situation, she went above and beyond to correct the problem. I’d like to say that I was wrong for making the assumption about the restaurant and I would to say personally say that the service and food were excellent. I really appreciate Melissa and the staff for their hard work….

I stopped at this Denny’s early on in the pandemic. The rules for spaced dining had just come into place in Utah. The servers were the kindest and most thoughtful people I may have ever met. They had, to not alarm the kids/families dining there, decorated all the tables that were not allowed to be used with fun themed “Candy Land” displays. The staff made it a fun activity for themselves as well. I will never forget the profound love and human spirit displayed that evening. Truly a one-of-a-kind memory and experience.

Great Denny’s. I like this chain and go to others when home and traveling. This is the best one I have ever enjoyed. Great service! My wife ordered sunny side up eggs but the cook made over easy. Our waitress Sheri noticed the mistake after it was served and brought out another plate is fresh eggs! The food and service are excellent. There is a reason this is the #1 positive reviewed Denny’s in America! I enjoyed the red white and blue pancake combo.
