I live in Broomfield and have a friend in town for a conference. From her hotel in DTC, we Google mapped and found this place nearby, and the reviews were stellar, so we decided to head over. The parking lot was packed and the place was buzzing. We were greeted immediately and told there was about a ten minute wait. We asked if we could sit at the mostly empty bar. Within minutes we had drinks and appetizers in front of us and the bartender was so sweet and attentive. We ended up staying at the bar and having dinner and every bite of all the dishes we had was delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely make the trip back soon!

Be prepared for a cozy and fun experience. Service was fast and friendly even a bit witty, (loved it) and the food was great. It’s fairly small in size but the service and food make up for it. I had the carnitas and would recommend it. A lot of times the meat can be fatty but not at El Karajo. They were slightly crispy but super tender. Perfect. Try this place. I’ll be back whenever I’m in town.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. We had a party of 10 and the majority had an unpleasant experience. The service was slow (20 mins to get food, asked several times for drinks, chips, etc.). However, they were very friendly and inviting. The food was average. Chimichanga seemed like it had curd-like cheese which was odd. The #1 combo was not good. Flautas lacked flavor.

It was very busy and they appeared understaffed. Some of my food never made it to the tabl and we could not flag down our server. No AC and no music. The bathrooms were stangley in a different part of the building through the back. The food was good though and that’s what matters most! The salsa in particular was great.
