The place smells heavenly, . The Manager Raheem was very friendly and introduced himself to me and we spoke about the restaurant. I ordered breakfast whiting, grits and eggs. Very good and the fish was done to perfection. They have a new dining area as well. I will be back and please don’t judge by the location, it’s safe.

I’ve tried this place a few times thinking I just didn’t like what I ordered. For starters the price point is to high for the neighborhood. The prices are close to Sylvia’s in Harlem and it’s a takeout restaurant. It wouldn’t be so bad if the food was good but I’ve tried a few things and only liked the potato salad. I won’t be back

Just leftsoul food delight in east orange. I only bought wings but every time I come down here I try new things. Only to compare to where I work. #soulfoodchesshouse. The wings suck and they robbed me for my tips,,/ wing tips. Never again. $5.35 for what?
