Best salmon dish “evah”. Nice clean atmosphere. I love the design of the bar with the railroad track as a bar rail for your feet. Keisla, the bartender is awesome! Great choices of beer. If I could give this place a 6 star I would. So, I will give the food my FGB rating. First time rating FGB to any restaurant.

We were delighted to have lunch here yesterday, Monday the 16th, as we have been to the Wakefield location multiple times over the last five years. The Reading location has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The silver tin ceilings nicely reflect the amber lighting making it cozy and romantic. There is a large bar with ample seating and high tops to complete the lounge area; in the back is regular seating, and at this location, they can seat larger parties. There is even a glass fireplace to keep it cozy! When the weather warms up, there is a large patio area that is going to be so much fun! Another great thing about this location is there is a parking lot; it is not huge but is nice compared to the wakefield location, which is street parking only.

We visited the new public kitchen yesterday, and we’re not disappointed! If you’ve been to the Wakefield location, they offer virtually identical selections for food and drinks. This location is more noteworthy, due to the additional space and improved layout. The atmosphere is more comfortable than the Wakefield location—the same excellent service. We’re ecstatic to have a second PK near us!

I am going to compare this Public Kitchen to the one in Wakefield as I’ve been to both several times. Wakefield Public Kitchen food feels less rushed, more flavorful, higher quality, and more often a 5 star meal experience while the Reading PK does feel a bit more **rushed**, delivering a slightly lower quality food. Yes its still enjoyable but more often its a “good” meal rather than a fantastic one. Plus I have yet to go there when their outside dining space is opened and I am an outdoors type of a person.

First time here. This location is much like the spot in Wakefield. If you like the Wakefield restaurant you’ll feel right at home here. The Reading location features a beautiful bar area, plenty of seating. In the summer/spring this place will be a delight to come to with the large front windows open. My only issues are the beer offerings were pretty limited. If you like IPAs, you’ll probably be happy with the menu – if you’re not…. Not a lot going on. It would be nice if the beer offerings could be a bit more expansive to include non-IPA beers.

Hit or miss at the bar. Food is good. Have tried a lot. Not a fan of their veggie burger, too mushy. Hot chicken sandwich is great! Nachos are good.

Over priced chain style food, loud atmosphere where it is difficult to talk across table. Food is very unappealing in presentation and equally unappetizing in taste. Won’t be going back. On the upside the waitstaff was very nice and attentive, it was clean and modern, bright interior desgn, just not great food for price.
