You know a good thing when you find it. This was excellent! From the service to the quality of the food. Add an amazing landscape overlooking a quiet lake on a sunny day, that’s a total win. We had the Delmonico steaks and they were cooked perfectly, tender and seasoned lightly with salt and pepper. the steaks were served with fresh creamy mashed potatoes and topped with lite and crispy onion straws. The side of carrots and green beans tasted super fresh not from a bag of frozen veggies. What a nice surprise.

My husband and I stopped in after 7 on a Monday (no reservation) and were seated immediately. The food was INCREDIBLE. The views are breathtaking. I couldn’t believe our bill wasn’t twice what it came out to be. We will definitely be coming again!

It was so nice they let us have Sunday brunch even though it was Father’s Day and we didn’t have a reservation. They set up a table outside on the deck for us. Food was quite good, although it was a buffet. Service fantastic. I’m digging them a bit on atmosphere b/c Father’s Day chaos, although that’s really not their fault. I’ll bet it’s quote good on a less crazy day.

We went there for my wife’s birthday tonight, a busy Thursday. Gorgeous view, but not a very nice greeting and it took almost 1.5 hours for our food to be served. When it finally came, my daughter’s steak was medium well instead of medium rare, as she’d asked. My wife’s lobster pie did not have much lobster in it, or much taste. And my meatloaf was just okay. Anthony, our server, did everything he could and was apologetic and hardworking, bu we won’t be back. Much too long a wait, even on a busy night, and we’re patient people. And the food was really mediocre. A shame, because the location is wonderful.

While the view is lovely and the server very nice, unfortunately the dining experience here is so terrible that we will never return. It took about an hour and a half to get our meals, and there were problems with each. The steak was way overcooked, for example, and although the menu said all the steaks were gluten free, there was a sauce containing gluten on the steak. (Luckily it’s only an intolerance not an allergy–could be dangerous for someone with Celiac!) The server apologized, but was too busy to do anything about our meals. If only a better restaurant could take over this beautiful space…
