I just tried Tokyo Sushi for the first time today. I got a salmon poke bowl. The price was good at $14. They gave me plenty of chunks of salmon too. I liked the added cucumber, avocado and seaweed salad as well. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. My only complaint is that it had too much dressing which blocked out the other flavors a little bit. I still enjoyed it though and I will go back here to try other things.

Sitting outside and eating here was such a serene and delicious experience! Everything was fresh, tasted amazing, and pretty reasonable portion:price ratio. Came with a friend of mine who said he grew up on this place, and I can clearly see why!

Finally found a replacement for Old Shanghai (my old favorite Chinese restaurant in Germantow which closed a couple of years ago). Disappointed that they took hot and sour soup off the menu (almost made me give them 4 stars). Their General Tso’s chicken is almost as good as Old Shanghai’s but my favorite dish is sexy jalepenos.

We were ordering sushi all the time here, until one day we reported that one roll was missing in the order. The staff member was arguing about it instead of just admiting the mistake. $7 are not worth loosing a customer, just a principle but will not order here any more.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years. The service, and food has always been exceptional. However…. I recently was ordering a delivery when I noticed my bill was more than their menu prices. I asked why I was being charged so much. She said they changed the prices, but have not been able to show the increase in ANY way or on any menu. I am not going to pay for something that does not reflect the price accordingly. Be careful if you order from here, as they will not tell you they’ve increased their prices from their delivery menu. If you are not paying attention to their prices advertised IN their menu, and what you order…they will get over on you. Just and FYI. It’s bad business to charge your patrons more money than advertised. Don’t be cheap. Get new menus reflecting your new prices if you’re going to charge more.

I was in the area passing through for lunchtime and decided to give this place a try as it seems to be the only sushi place around with outdoor seating (during covid). Placed an order for takeout but ate at the tables outside. Ordered a spicy tuna roll, a cucumber and eel roll, and the crazy roll from the specialty menu and all three were delicious! Less than $30 for the perfect portion for my husband and me. If it was closer to my own home I would definitely make this a regular place for sushi cravings!

Take out only, they won’t even let you inside. They give you a menu to order from, but don’t tell you until you notice the bill and ask, that they’ve upped their prices. Payed 27 dollars for one sushi roll and one appetizer. Both were mediocre. Will not return.

Great local sushi and Asian place. I tried various different dishes and all were very good. As other reviews have said, it can get a bit pricey, but the food is worth it if you want some good sushi or any other Japanese or Chinese food.
