I tried Sally’s and Frank Pepe’s… unimpressed. Marco Polo blows them out of the water, but maybe I just prefer New York style. Service was friendly and fast, and best of all–they sell by the slice. Don’t bother waiting two hours for burnt apizza when this gem exists.

I wandered in here once many years ago when I had the drunken munchies. I remembered their pizza to be decent, so when I had the late night munchies recently and this seemed to be the only option open on Grubhub, I thought I’d give them another shot. I got the Farmer’s Delight pizza. Believe me when I say that this was one of the nastiest pizzas I’ve ever had. It was so extremely salty and tasted so weird that it made me gag. I ate a couple slices out of pure starvation and I can’t bring myself to finish the rest. Decent price and late night hours are a plus, but the pizza sucks, especially compared to all the other great options in New Haven.

I stopped at Marco polo to have a quick bite with my wife. We ordered the Calzone and the insalta caprese Salad. It was delicious and the prices. The shrimp was fresh and the Calzone’s stuffing was amazing.

I’d say that the pizza is just OK. I ordered and paid extra for toppings on the FULL pizza. There’s barely any toppings & some slices have no toppings at all. Very disappointed because if I’m paying extra for toppings I expect them to be on the entire pizza.

Ordered through grubhub food started out delicious. When we got to my dessert. There was mold two splotches of mold in my tirramizu horrified is not the word. Never again will we order from here if their desserts had mold who know what else went bad we threw out the rest of the pizzas. This place is a no go

This was a favorite go to, but recently quality has gone down and the price is just too expensive for a regular pizza parlor, compared to all the greats in New Haven. They use to make the best garlic knots and when I ordered them they were just oily and soggy and a little undercooked. I also ordered buffalo wings and they had absolutely no sauce on them and they were super oily. You can tell in the picture what little sauce ended up on them mixed with the oil on the wings. I really use to love this place, sad to see it turn out like this.
