This is the second time I’ve ordered food here. I love the burrito lunch with carnitas! Great price for a big lunch. I also ordered the street tacos. They are delicious! This is one of my new favorite places in Lewisburg.

Great Mexican food! You must try tacos made from carnitas. The wings and fried rice combo are also a good choice. Preferred drink is the horchata and fresh cucumber water. Great service and environment.

So glad that Alex is finally in Lewisburg! Just FYI this location in downtown Lewisburg is ran by Alex and his team, the other location in town is not. If you’re a fan of the original Alex’s in Columbia definitely come check them out and enjoy their tasty food!

Loved that we got chips, salsa, and cheese dip complimentary. Menu was easy to read, and had lots of variety. Waitress did have some problems understanding us, but finally got it. Service was quick. Food was good. Only negative I had was the chicken in my tacos seemed old and dried out. Everything else was good. The restaurant is beautiful inside.

I went here with high hopes, as it was recommended by a family member. The service here was spectacular! Our server was extremely attentive. The place was super crowded when we arrived, which gave me hope that the food would be fabulous. It was not. I got beef enchiladas with red sauce. The beef was highly underwhelming, and the red sauce seemed to simply be plain ole tomato sauce. I anticipated at least a little flavor or spice since it is supposed to be Mexican food. It was evident I wasn’t in Texas, that’s for sure! Also, the beans and rice were nothing to write home about. I don’t anticipate visiting here again.

I sent my husband to get my food, and they told him that I must of called the other location across town. My husband drove to the other side of town before I stopped him and told him to go back bc I was sure I ordered it from this location. When I got the food, it was completely wrong! The ground beef, chicken, and rice was extremely dry. My chimichangas were extremely small. I will never give them my money again. Go to the other one across town. The food is better, and they are more efficient.

Went here to get and order my wife place to be told that it was at the other location and they didn’t have it. While this is happening there is a bag of food on the counter. I called my wife as I went to the other location and she assured me it was there. So, I returned and the man who I spoke with initially was fussing at a woman who worked there about the confusion. It wasn’t her fault! It was his! If he had listened when I told him what the order was we could have avoided this misunderstanding but he was sure he was right. Complete waste of time and ti top it off food wasn’t even made properly. I would give zero stars if it was an option.
