Went to the Valley Lodge Tavern. We ordered some very nice drinks. Martini was well made. My wife enjoyed her wine. The waitress was welcoming and very nice. Great place for drinks. Sadly, I have to say the food was substandard. My friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi and I ordered the ribs. Note: we were very surprised at how small the order of pasta was that came with the Shrimp Scampi. It seems like a side dish. Also the food had very little taste and seemed overcooked and kind of rubbery, especially ribs. Might want to talk to the cooks on that… However, the waitress was outstanding. Lastly, the atmosphere was wonderful, people seem very happy to be there.

Great place to grab drinks and relax out on the patio. Food was excellent very large portions. Pasta with Bolognese sauce was very good. Calamari was good fried cheese was a great show watching waiter light it on fire. Definitely would make this a regular stop.

Valley Lodge is always packed, and we’ve never actually had the opportunity to dine in. Take out is quick and delicious. This is our go to on nights where we don’t want to cook , and are craving comfort food. The grilled cheese sandwiches are amazing. Salads are fresh and delicious. We love the cheeseburger salad. Portions are large and we often have leftovers.

New breezy room at the rear is a real treat. Menu is basically bar food with some interesting twists (Saganaki burger? Yes, PLEASE!)

Went here with my mother. Chicken was remarkably bland, almost no taste; the salad was great (although why you’d spend $6 on that few shrimps???); the drinks were superb and the cheesecake was really good. A little on the expensive side but we did get some decent service with okay food.

Saganaki burger. What a concept! All the food tasted great, including the salad (it’s not that easy to make an above average salad). It also has a really warm, festival vibe to it which was really nice. The negroni was a little too sweet though.

Great food and good conversation with the owner. It’s refreshing to see an owner actually working in the restaurant he owns, love seeing that passion and dedication. The mini steak sandwiches were every tender. I had them prepared Medium Rare and it’s hard to not overcook a piece of meat that small, but they did a fantastic job!

Great food and service! Emily was fantastic! Noisy but it’s a tavern! Will be back for sure! Had the Old Fashioned Burger – excellent and cooked well as I like! Fries were tasty and they carry Patron – what more could one ask for!
