Not good. Chicken tastes very plain, tasted more like baked chicken with no seasoning. And the white rice, no flavor at all. More like the rice Asian restaurants give you.

This is the worst restaurant ever, I bought a whole chicken (comes with 2 large sides) and just take a look at the pictures, the portion they serve is an absolutely robbery , I can’t believe they charge 5$ for each! I called the manager Jackie and she laughed at me and told me this is the way they serve, I demanded to speak with the owner and she refused to do anything to help me at the beginning, also I wasn’t given a receipt because at the moment of paying the cashier throw it to the garbage directly, other places for less what this people charge they give you the right size portions on a whole chicken (for 4+ people). DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE, PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND THE SERVICE ITS JUST A BIG JOKE.

Price is higher than other Latin chicken places and the quality is way worse. The coleslaw is overloaded with mayonnaise, the chicken was very dry and very small for a quarter chicken, the fries were good, but the whole menu was overpriced. If I did not follow their menu combos, I had to get items à la cart, which is not the case in other Latin chicken places. Service was also notably slower than other Latin chicken places that have even more business than they do. They also don’t display the food like other Latin chicken places. I would’ve been better off going to McDonald’s across the street!

Love it! Peruvian chicken really hits the spot when you’re hungry for some filling food. I love the sides the most though. Yucca fries and sweet plantains all day long! Get several extras of the sauce though, because you will need it. I recommend mixing the green and yellow sauces.

Update… the food is still good, but the chicken this visit was surprisingly dry. I am going to say it was a one off dud bird unless it happens again. They no longer have an ice or soda machine, but have canned and bottled beverages and water in a dispenser. It was hot in the dining room (77 degrees). Finally, the music this visit was Spanish gospel. I was there for supper with my kids, not to go to church. Maybe we will do takeout next time.

We moved from the area 6 years ago and loved it then so had to see if it was still as good as we remembered. We stopped by for lunch on a pretty dead Tuesday afternoon. The chicken was hot, fresh and perfectly seasoned. I had the Cubano and hubby had the American combo. The chicken was just as good as we remembered. Cashier was a bit aloof and rude but service jobs usually don’t pay their employees well so what can anyone expect?? They did cook up some delicious food and we really enjoyed it.

Chicken and fried yucca fries are good. Fast service.Friendly staff Best to order lunch middle of the day. Late afternoons the chicken seems to be dry.

Very bad service, I called to place an order when it arrived, it was not ready, and I had to wait about 20 minutes, and the cashier didn’t even tell me, sorry, I asked for the chicken cut in 8 and they didn’t cut it for me, the cashier didn’t even use gloves to make me the order

Pro tip: If you’re going to order from Pollo Peru, do it online. Wait times in the store are long and the cashier often misunderstands your order. Place your order online and all is well. Keep it simple. I order 2x 1/2 chickens of white meat only and the fries + steamed veggies for a family of 4. It’s more expensive that way but the order comes out right and the chicken is really fantastic. Fries are always crispy and taste great. The spicy yogurt sauce is really good.
