I was visiting a friend in Lexington who wanted to try brunch here. We found the restaurant was inside the lobby of a hotel. The atmosphere was very nice, and the food and service were excellent. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (probably the best I’ve ever had), and my friend ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which she absolutely loved. I can only say good things about this restaurant. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and I will definitely come back here the next time I’m in Lexington.

I stayed at the Elwood hotel for business and was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant, Fiddletree (located in the hotel). They offer both indoor and outdoor seating – I chose outdoor and it was gorgeous. Service was incredible, food was delicious (I recommend the filet and Fiddletree Manhattan). Overall, I am glad I dined here! Would definitely stay and dine again if visiting.

Great service and wonderful food. The chicken and waffles with spicy syrup was a great combo! Will be back.

We ate breakfast here after checking out of the hotel. It was delicious. I had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Some of the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had!!! It came with a salad, which I guess I didn’t see on the menu. It was fresh and tasty (and God knows I probably needed to eat a raw vegetable). The coffee was also good and fresh. My son had the pancakes which I tasted and they were excellent.

We hosted a corporate dinner for 32 people at Fiddletree last night and I can not tell you the amount of positive feedback I received. Not only is does Fiddletree look amazing but the food was fantastic! The steak was the most talked about menu item along with the dessert. Our groups also ordered a lot of cocktails and the bartenders and servers worked very quickly to ensure everyone received their drinks quickly. I can not thank the Fiddletree team enough for an amazing evening!

I’ll start with the service. Our server Brooke was extremely personable. It was only she and one other server covering the brunch crowd which was extremely busy, but they handled it well. Brooke gave us personal interaction and actually showed care about us as customers.

Super cute spot, but the food was just okay. The boiled eggs were too hard. I was pretty shocked that ‘eggs with cheese’ meant a slice of fake cheese (at least have the slice of cheese be Sargento). I asked for butter and it was hard and cold.

This was my first time at the restaurant at Elwood. I was invited to a Sunday 59th Birthday Brunch for a dear friend. Our reservations were for 1 p.m. and we were all seated in a timely fashion in a side room. There were a few tables outside that seemed to be wrapping up their meal, so our group were the only customers there. As my meal was being served, a manager came out asking who made the reservations for the group. We pointed out the birthday lady that was seated at the center of the table. The manager proceeded to tell her “If anyone else in your party comes, I’m not seating them because we are short staffed. YOU need to tell them not to come.” The tone and manner that the manager used was very unprofessional as well as disrespectful too. There definitely should have been another way of delivering the message. It would have been appropriate for the manager to have asked to speak to her privately. Instead her delivery was more of an attack. The group was aware that the server was doing her best and nobody was complaining. It was like the manager wanted to argue with our birthday girl….she became very upset as well as broke out in hives. We enjoyed the food, but this definitely put a damper on the atmosphere. The waitress was kind and took time to answer all our menu questions. I’m sure none of us will ever go back because of the disrespectful attitude towards our birthday lady.

This is a very eclectic, cool place to have modern American Fare. The wait staff was very pleasant and prompt. I ordered the salmon and a glass of light beer. Unfortunately, the beer was slightly warm and the salmon was over salted. I may try again soon.
