One of the best meals of my life. The staff were friendly, detail oriented, and helpful. When I made the reservation and let them know it was for birthday, they surprised us with cheerful confetti. The food was a wonderful combination of traditional and experimental gastronomy. My recommendation is try to make it to dessert… it’s well worth it. Their homemade ice cream is better than Salt & Straw.

If I could give it five stars or more I would give it the highest rating. It was an unforgettable, absolutely wonderful evening for our table of six family members. The food was literally the best I’ve had in a long long time. We enjoyed the seven course tasting menu along with paired wines.

We did a 5 course tasting with wine pairing, every course was fabulous and cooked to perfection. The wines that were served complimented our food so well. The staff including owner Steve worked hard to ensure that this experience was enjoyable, comfortable and exquisitely delicious. I would recommend this restaurant, we had an amazing experience.

Absolutely incredible experience! We did the tasting menu with a bottle of Pino Gris, it was a fun and light atmosphere focus on the flavors of the food. Incredible fresh menu, perfectly cooked and they had the perfect table set up for our anniversary and fun confetti for the table. I was laughing and smiling the whole time! Great experience!

I rarely give 5 stars…but The Bay House definitely deserves it. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was soooo much food… Soooo much delicious food. We ended up hurting ourselves because we couldn’t stop eating. I highly recommend the tasting menu. They have a pretty extensive wine list also….well not really a list but a wine binder with a table of contents.

This restaurant offers that rare combination is inspired food, exceptional service and classiness without snobbiness that is difficult to attain and should be cherished once found. My only regret is that this restaurant is not in the heart of Portland, where it could complete with the best of them. The scallops and duck are truly matchless and everything else that we tried was top notch. Thank you for a wonderful dinner with great ambiance. My wife and I are thankful.
