Reuben, Poutine, and fries are a must. If you’re coming for brisket, it’s on the summer menu, but I’ve heard Briskets are great too. Coming from Montreal, the Poutine they sell here are different from your typical Montreal Poutine but equally as good! Lovely and distinct!

When my cousin mentioned his buddy owns this place I drove 2-1/2hrs from Manchester,NH just to check it out and it’s soooo efffin’ money that I’m glad I did! Smoke pastrami hit every note and the smoke pork poutine was delicious… This food truck is located at the Jay county store.

The fries. Cooked perfectly with crispy coating and salted just right. Why can’t all fries be this good? I got the burger which was delicious, the poutine with pork was amazing, and our friend said it was the best pastrami sandwich he’s ever had.

I was in the area doing some outdoor activities and glanced this place on the side of the road near the county store. I decided to stop, without any knowledge or with many expectations of getting anything besides your typical roadside hotdog. Man, am I glad I stopped here. We ordered the poutine and brisket meal. Both were amazing. Some of the best BBQ I’ve had in awhile. The poutine was insane. This is a hidden gem that I will definitely be making a stop at any time I’m in the area from now on.

We stopped in for lunch after hiking Jay Peak and Big Jay. The Smoked Brisket sandwich was outstanding as well as the pastrami rueben. We also loved the baked beans and coleslaw. I highly recommend and can’t wait to return for another great meal. Thanks!

Really love this spot – a BBQ food truck right in the parking lot of my favorite Vermont craft brewery. They serve up a small menu of relentlessly authentic BBQ, generous portions, friendly service, and good price. I loved their brisket the most but their housemade mac & cheese bites are addictive.

I got my first taste here two days in a row and it was outstanding . Creative and well prepared items that will make your mouth water for more. Such love and care put into the chef-owner prepared meals here and it shows. The smoked Pastrami Rueben sandwich on the marbled rye was unbelievably good and my favorite so far. Chowhound will be my go to from now on for sure. Best thing is that it’s both great tasting food but that is also natural food chef prepared so I know I’m getting a good balanced meal. In Jay Vermont now in the same as jay country store parking lot. This unique food is just what we need in the area and it is definitely my first thought when I’m driving to get some food I already know where I’m headed as long as it’s Thurs thru-sunday.
