This was my first time at Watecha Bowl…it was awesome! Ordered the Indian beef tacos…frybread was perfection & toppings were delicious! Can’t wait to try the burgers too. I’ll definitely be back very soon.

They have vegetarian and vegan options which is an automatic win, plus they understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Every time I come here, I get the best fry bread tacos and customer service. They even made sure lil sunka wouldn’t be hungry. I’m greatful that there is a place in town where I can get an excellent taco, they have been my favorite since I was a kid. I can’t wait to buy some Watecha stickers eventually too!

I got the vegan taco and the fry bread fingers with wojapi. All Very tasty! The atmosphere is humble, but the food is made with integrity and served with (well deserved) pride. And it’s delicious. This was my first introduction to frybread so I was full of questions so I got lessons both in cooking and culture. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Very glad I came!

This felt like I was transported to the rez when I walked in. Well before I walked in. Predictably easy to get to, hard to park at. A hole in the wall that is putting out quality fry bread and is the only place for Indian tacos I know of. Why doesn’t every city have a local indian taco place Why not have fry bread covered cheese curds?. Small, dirty and exactly what I wanted. Northern Cree on the radio, nice owners, go already.

Literally some of the best food I’ve ever had in South Dakota. Friendly service that went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. 15/10 would come back again and again and again.

Delicious! We tried a few different items and all were good! The staff was friendly and helpful when we told them it was our first time. The food was ready very fast! They only have outdoor seating, which was kind of a bummer because it was 100° during our visit.

Food was amazing and authentic!!! Picked this up on the way to the airport as my last stop out of town. The buffalo Indian taco was so good. Definitely best buffalo I’d had. It almost tasted like burnt ends brisket. Moist and tender.

Amazing food that you can taste the freshness, respect for the ingredients and leave with a full belly and happy soul. The owner and staff are friendly and inviting. The location is in the process of a face lift but there’s ample seating with their expansion. I can’t wait to see them continue to flourish and share their delicious food with the world. Always going to come back for more!
