I love coming here after 5pm to get a baked potato. They are so salty and delicious, plus paired with a bison burger- how can you go wrong? I love that they take care with their dietary restriction customers. I ask for gluten free buns and they always bring it out right I feel confident they make it safe for me to eat. Overall I highly recommend!

This was my first time eating here. My husband and I both had Bison, also my first Bison. I got the Red Rock burger and he had the Bison ribeye. The steak was so juicy and tender. He’s pretty picky on his steaks, he said it was one of the best steaks he’s had. He also got 1/2 &1/2 fries and onion rings and butter carrots. Both were very good as well. My burger was delicious. It had jalapeño, fried onions and some kind of yummy sauce. The cucumbers that come out when you first get seated are unlike any I’ve ever eaten. I had an exceptional huckleberry margarita as well. Our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere is great. Nothing bad to say about my first time at Ted’s Montana Grill except I wish I could have eaten more, I would like to have tried a dessert.

We haven’t eaten here in like 6 years. We went for lunch and the service was great and the food was okay. I got the beef bacon cheeseburger with fries. My burger was a little dry and needed some seasoning. My hubby got the Avalon bison burger with onion rings and really liked his. We also ordered the salted caramel adult milkshake in two glasses. And that was delicious. Their pickles that they bring out as an appetizer were also really good. But the water tasted straight from the tap.

My daughter had prom dinner here with a bunch of friends. We stayed and ate at another table since the limo was picking them up here and we wanted pictures. The food was just ok. We ordered the homemade chips as an appetizer and they were cold. Would’ve expected them to have just been cooked and be warm and crisp. Our waiter said he didn’t want to keep coming back so he gave me two extra drinks so I wouldn’t run out. So my husband and I both had 3 glasses in front of us. Also one of the servers was bossing around the other servers in front of us. It wasn’t arguing or yelling but you could tell he was annoyed and so were the servers that answered him. I got roasted parmesan broccoli as a side. It was Def not roasted. It was 100% boiled and was soggy. They threw a teeny amount of parmesan on it and melted it and then served it. My burger was good and my husband loves the homemade pickles. I just wasn’t impressed and probably won’t go back.

Came with a small group and started off with a basket of onion rings and the shrimp toast…the onion rings were excellent and our server said he threw in some extras for us. I had a blue cheese martini which was cold and delicious, thankfully. That’s about where my praise ends. The arugula served alongside the shrimp was on its last legs…some leaves were pale and should never have been served. The shrimp toast was so salty it was barely edible and deterred me from ordering a main course. I did go with a wedge salad and side of Parmesan broccoli for my entree. The salad was nothing to write home about (only comes with dressing, tomato and a few bacon bits) so I added red onion. As salty as the shrimp was, the broccoli had none. It was crisp but very bland. My friends ordered bison burgers and felt they were lackluster. Our server was very attentive and friendly but unfortunately the food was a complete miss for us so we won’t likely return.

Little dark for my eye – had to light up the menu with. my phone – but the food and drinks were so good! Three of the 4 kids with us ordered the kids steak and they LOVED it. The price was great at $11/entree and all three of them ate every last bit.

What a great place to share a meal with my family. Our favorite is the bison meatloaf. It’s hard to pick a side because they’re all delicious. The sliced cucumbers hit the spot while we look around at the atmosphere. Brings us back to Montana every time we eat there.

Had delicious bison burgers. We sat at the bar since the dining room was packed. They were very busy and I think they were short handed, especially busboys. I watched as 4 or 5 tables sat full of dirty dishes for 30 minutes or more and 4 or 5 groups left from waiting areas. This was not the fault of the wonderful staff that was at work. They were very busy and working hard. The food and drinks were exceptional as well as the atmosphere. No one was rude to us even though they were VERY busy.

Hadn’t been to Ted’s in many years, and my memory of the food was that it was really good. Not so much this time around. The service was spot on, absolutely nothing to complain about with our waiter. My girl had to send the steak back, but the waiter handled it quickly. My burger was good. I got the canyon creek burger. We also got the bison nachos, which were pretty good. The place was pretty empty, so we thought our food could have been prepared with a bit more attention and care, but it came out timely. Other than the steak we sent back, the food was good.
