I heard they have really good wings but when I got there I was told that they no longer have wings. I asked if there was anything he could recommend and he said the steak and cheese is good so I decided to give it a try. I tried it and it was just ok, nothing special and I wouldn’t order it again.

Damon’s has been a staple of ours for decades. Although we don’t live anywhere near Augusta, when we drive up or down rt. 95, we stop to purchase a toasted Big Dave. If you want the best sandwich in the capitol city, I highly recommend you stop by Damon’s!

I couldn’t wait to post a review about Damon’s! This place is so AWESOME❤️ I had a small Hawaiian pizza Friday evening and it was so good, I got a large Hawaiian pizza tonight, Saturday!!! I’ve been looking for a place like this all my life, now I’ve found it!!! Another person had the chicken basket and loved it❤️ too! The only thing I would change is I would have an option for Coke products, but that will not stop me from going there! One more thing, they are Christians and are not hiding that, LOVE IT❤️✝️

I guess if I was local, I would have known a dagwood is a pita, not a sandwich. Of course, everywhere else in the U.S. The dagwood is a notoriously large sandwich, as we have all seen in the cartoon. Mine came with 2, maybe 3 slices of salami and 2 slices of cheese. They definitely don’t spare the pickles. 10 dollars. Wasn’t really impressed. Another thing I noticed is they and italian subs: with ham, or salami, or roast beef, or other meats. But yet they don’t have an “ITALIAN” SUB….Salami, capacol, ham, pepperoni, lettuce, tomato, onion, provolone, vinegar and oil. Just strange to me…the place was slammed, so it must have something good. I just didn’t find it.
