We eat here pretty regularly. The food is is always really good and freshly made. A few times lately though they have been understaffed. The line workers are overwhelmed and the cook couldn’t keep them stocked by himself. They seemed to be doing their best and kept a good attitude so my criticism is aimed mostly at management. Overall a great experience though.

I love Bolay, I have been eating here since they opened so my review is long overdue. It would’ve been five stars had I given this review a year or a year and a half ago when they had the Thai bowl amongst others on their menu. It’s reduced to four-star because I am not as impressed with their new bowl recipes and they removed some ingredients and are less imaginative. The original menu made them crave worthy. So I hover today between strong like and love for Bolay.

The lemon chicken and teriyaki chicken were amazing! The sauces are unique and go well with the food. The setting and the workers are nice and they make sure that all customer needs are met. Very affordable for the quality of food and service. Most definitely a place you should visit with friends and family!

Food was good, but the service was terrible. They automatically put my food in takeout containers, which was more difficult to eat and wasteful. They also acted like creating the dish was an interruption to their day. Rather than guiding through the options, they simply asked, “anything else?” as if they wanted the answer to be “no”. Luckily, I’d been to a much better Bolay the day before or else I would have had no idea how to order.

My girlfriend and I visited late last Friday and although the kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed with orders everything came through swiftly once Marcella (the shift lead?) stepped into the back. She apologized for the wait and was prompt in giving everyone the food that they were waiting for.
