A very typical family owned grocery store jam packed with items. Ya Hala carries traditional sweets and a small grill for take out. The chicken shawarma with fries was reasonably priced. However, the chicken could have more flavorful. It is carved from the skewer and put on the grill. The fries were lightly seasoned and again could have been more flavorful. Willing to give it another try.

Alaa salah is an exceptionally rude and improper associate, an extreme perversion of what it means to offer service. From inception of my arrival I was met with a scowl and complete and utter lack of consideration of patronage to this establishment. His tone was indicative of disgust and impatience rather than appeasement, and was seemingly unaware than this a holy time for my people. This associate was extremely formal, when prompted about my country of origin, he began to make demeaning and offensive jokes, ostracizing the pride and love for my people and cuisine. This is unforgivable, and I would hope that in the future you take greater consideration to the associates that you choose to represent your establishment…Because as a result of his conduct, you will no longer receive my patronage.

Paid for a $70 order and it’s missing multiple times. They also made their own substitutions without asking. The order is missing rice and two skewers. Called them and they are rude and said they are out. Not apologetic, no refunds, just plain rude. I wouldn’t do business with them. Shameful!
