I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while due to the amount of positive reviews. I was greeted by a very friendly employee when I walked in to place my order. The food came out in a timely manner and it was fresh and smelt amazing. Like previous reviewers said, they give generous portions. The drunken noodles were requested to be very spicy and they did not disappoint. The restaurant even gave us a free meal by surprise! I will likely return to order and this will be my go-to Thai spot. Overall, the food was filling and flavorful.

Advanced Auto Spa
Ended up getting home late from work.. too late to cook anything myself. Googled and few places and stumbled upon this one… ordered the chicken puff and pad Z U… wasn’t expecting anything crazy. The food got delivered and let me say… both dishes were amazing! Wow!

I tried the Thai Shangri-La “on the go” the new service from one of my favorite restaurants. The food was delivered to my door in a sturdy box with the food on ice. The food was absolutely delicious and everything I had was super fresh and TASTY! The portions were much larger then I thought and I was personally able to get 2 meals out of each. I had Breakfast: Loaded Omelet (came with syrup) and Lunch/Dinner Potato Masaman Chicken (came with white rice). Again everything was super tasty and reheated in microwave was perfect. Drinks I has were a Matcha and Taro milk tea with bubbles… lots of bubbles! Refreshing! So glad to finally have a good bubble tea place nearby. Can’t wait to try more things on the menu!

Food is good. Just one very big FYI. The restaurant hours are till 9 pm. But if you come after 8:30 they won’t let you dine in, only take out. Which is very odd and not acceptable. They should post their hours as 8:30 if they don’t have dine in open past that. We drove from far and upon request were allowed to sit in and had to order whole order right away.

We’ve been going to Thai Shangri-la since the restaurant opened back in the early 2000s. I’ve NEVER had a bad meal there. Additionally, what impresses me so much about them is the consistency in which everything is so excellent and how there are rarely ever, if any inconsistencies in flavor over time. Either it’s the same cooking staff for almost 15years or they stick to their recipes and train new staff accordingly. You will not have a bad meal. Period.

We tried Thai Shangri-La last night. The Panang Curry was amazing! Everything we ordered was great and nothing was greasy, thankfully. Sadly there are just a few tidbits left over. We ordered the drunken noodles, the curry, and the duck filled buns (appetizer). I want to try the papaya salad, Pad Thai and some other curries soon. I have never had Thai food at this level in NJ, so glad we gave it a try!

As of last night — as far as I saw THERE IS NO DINE-IN. We pulled in, and I’d noticed from the traffic light — the place looked a bit — different. We planned on being seated and eating but found a group of people milling about in front of the place and a small sign on the door stating take-out / delivery only. We elected to go the a different place down the road. We’ve eaten there before, good food.
