As a Chi native I’ve had the best and the worst hoagies out there (all-time favorite was E&M’s of many years ago!). Since we were first introduced to Lupi’s a year or 2 ago, we’ve been ordering from them every time we come even CLOSE to Chi. Fair prices, HEALTHY portions, quality meats and veggies and the rolls have been nice and soft. GREAT sandwich! Thank you!!

I ordered a small mushroom cheese steak with mayo, ketchup, pickles, fried onions and I was extremely disappointed. The sandwich had a sour taste because the cook put too many damn pickles. Never again will I order from Lupi’s

Garlic Bread Alert!! Garlic Bread Alert!! Delco’s cheesesteak supremacy is moving to Lupi’s Pizza in Boothwyn. I read online that Lupi’s had amazing garlic bread. So I asked (@kjw1972 @jcohl @diningonadime gave me the courage to ask) if I could get a cheesesteak on Garlic Bread. No Problem. Al, the owner, said ‘I never thought of that, Thanks.’ To everyone that enjoys a garlic bread cheesesteak at Lupi’s, ‘You are welcome and it truly was my pleasure to help.’ Very good cheesesteak. It needs more meat but what was there was very good. Great amount of cheese melted with the meat very nicely. You can see in pictures, lots of mushrooms. $9, 11 inch roll. Seating, bathroom, regulars lingering and plenty of parking. Very good all around experience.

This place is only 4 blocks from where I live, but this was the first time ordering food here. I’ve gotten strombolis from many places, but this one was the best I’ve ever had. Needless to say, I’ve found one of those great ‘hole in the wall’ locations that will continue getting my business.

I placed an order for delivery. Said it would be there in an hour. 1.15 hour still no food. I called in, the lady that answered said she wasn’t sure when the driver would be back. I instead told her I’d drive to pick it up. She was very nice and apologetic (reason for 2 stars). She refunded my delivery fee and driver tip and gave me a soda. The cheesesteaks has next to no cheese on them. Fries were cold. Wife’s chicken salad had only lettuce and chicken. Plus, this place isn’t exactly cheap. No more Lupis for us.

I had a five-star rating from 5 years ago. I’ve changed it since the new owner with one star November of 2022. Employee was touching his face then handling slices. Another young man walked in asked if he can make his own steak and walked behind the counter.

Since a new owner took it over the food is better the only thing is the last two times I ordered my order got messed up I ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad and got a wrap the kid was really nice and bring it quickly but then the last time I ordered I ordered at 704 p.m. the lady told me 15 to 20 minutes I didn’t get my food until 25 after 8:00
