Asked a local for a good lunch spot and was advised this was a local favorite. Ordered pizza and Philly steak with onion petals. I ate every bite of mine. Didn’t try the pizza but was told it was super good and it looked and smelled good. Great service and atmosphere. Would like to go back in the evening for a couple of drinks and dinner. Even the customers were friendly. Decor is unique also and if you’re lucky enough to be there when a train goes by you feel like it’s so close you could reach out and touch it. Added to the fun watching the trains.

Pleasantly surprised. Not many choices in Eaton. Tried here based on Google reviews. I got a 8oz Filet with potato. It was cooked to order and tender. Salad was a little watery. But not bad. It is a bar and is noisy. You can have kids in bars in Ohio. I will eat here again.

Heard many great local reviews of this place having the best steak dinner around, meeting family for dinner and some drinks as two of us arrived first, we were not even noticed to be standing at the bar for over 45 mins as watching ppl and staff talk and tables opening, our family arrived and still no one even acknowledged us standing or even asked for a drink… It is obvious this place is busy on weekends and very obvious you must know someone working to get service… We waited almost an hour, and no one even took the decency to acknowledge 6 adults standing and waiting, after asking the bar tender several times for a drink, we all walked out in just shock and amazement of being totally ignored, it was very rude and a very sad environment for a small town bar/food spot that clearly needs customer service training that would definitely improve the businesses daily earnings… Don’t waste your time if you are new to the Eaton area!

I hadn’t been to the “Mule” since 86… I had a mullet, a Trans Am and a girlfriend with a fake ID! After playing 36 at the Eaton CC, I was starving before heading back home to the right hand of Jesus, in Monroe. Someone at the course told me that they had good food. I was pleasantly surprised at the food as well as the service and atmosphere. It makes a big difference without the smell of spilt beer and cigarettes. Good wings and burgers.

The food was over cooked and left a film in my mouth from the oil that appears to be old. Service was wonderful and atmosphere was wonderful. I hate to give the food a bad review. I’m sure it may not be like this all the time though.

Do not believe the good reviews, those people are on meth. We went based on reviews and were disappointed in every way. Food sucked, service sucked, prices sucked. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it’s kind of a neat old building.

Had dinner tonight. Service and food was good. We sat at the bar but had to change seats. The guy next to us was chewing snuff and was spitting in a cup. I could smell it. GROSS. To me, that’s the same as smoking. Spitting in a cup in a restaurant is unacceptable.

Our favorite place to eat. The grilled chicken and vegies are like no other. The pizza is good and I love the chicken taco salad in a shell. Service is great. They get busy at night at times so hope you can grab a seat. Well worth going.

Food was amazing, environment as well. Went late at night for dinner and drinks and had an awesome conversation with the bartenders and my fiancé. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived which made it even better. Bartenders knew how to make shots and other mixed drinks without question. All in all a great place to eat, drink, and enjoy!!!
