Ordered vietnamese beef vermicelli noodle salad to go and it was disappointing as it’s not like any vietnamese salad I’vehad before. It also didn’t have all the ingredients that was supposed to come with the dish. I called the store and was told they’re out of the fried garlic and forgot to add the basil and crushed peanuts. That was it, no offer to do anything about it.

For anyone interested, they do have a Party Tray menu. I couldn’t find it online but it’s posted inside the restaurant. I wish I had known about this place sooner. We had it for the first time at a birthday party and just like that, my kids know China Chef as “the place with the really good fried rice”.

Most of their food is good. Growing up, my family came here all the time for lunch buffet. Buffet is only good when you come as soon as it opens. Otherwise, the food is nasty for sitting out all day. Hubby and I always order off the menu. When they first started serving pho, we used to come at least once a month so I could get my pho fix. Food is great, but they’re not as friendly. We’ve met the male chef once and he was very friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend this place. Food comes out at a good speed and tastes good.
