Not nearly as good as it used to be. Recently dined in July 1 for dinner & had the dinner for 2 which included bread sticks, salad, pasta (chicken alfredo) and a medium pizza (cheese). Ambiance is always good. I love the homey vibes this place gives, it’s a classic staple in the city. Price was reasonable ($45) for the amount of food we were given. Customer service was subpar, the table we were seated at was so small it could barely accommodate the food we ordered. Taste…I’ve had better garlic bread from the foil bags at the grocery store. The pasta was SO soupy it was literally in a pool of milk, Alfredo is supposed to be creamy not watery. The pizza was meh, but then again it’s cheese pizza. Salad was good. I probably won’t be going back which is disappointing because I really loved this place, but they honestly have gone downhill in recent years.

Pizza Show is a Hawthorne classic. It has been here forever so they must be doing something right. I have had their pizza multiple times now and I honestly have no complaints. They have a to-go window outside which makes it easy to order and head out. If you prefer to dine in, their seating area inside is really cute. The time I have dined in there hasn’t been a wait, so not sure if there ever is one. Their cheese bread is just awesome! They offer a full order or a half order, usually get the half just so I can enjoy other food too. It comes with some sort of meat sauce that is very good. The chicken wings are not bad. Think the only thing I am not a fan of is their chicken alfredo but aside from that this place is pretty cool.

So i drive passed this place every time i pick my son up from school and decided to try it for the first time tonight. I order my food online at 7:30pm paid their delivery charge. I’m seeing the time tick by but no calls to say my delivery is outside. I called at 8:15 only to hear that they don’t have any delivery driver. No one from the restaurant called me to say that i had to call and then drive to pick up my order. Then to make matters worse i had to wait another 10 minutes to get my food. No apologies, no refund for my delivery charge or offer to do so since I had to pick it up myself. I definitely will not be returning to this place ever.

Finally stopped by and ate after decades of driving by. Let’s just say that I was completely unimpressed. The pizza tasted like a frozen Red Baron (actually, a RB has more flavor) and the beer was flat. You definitely don’t get what you pay for.

Fantastic pizza, I’m not much of a pizza guy but I love the pizza here. I recommend eating here. The gooey pizza is fresh and the ingredients are superb. You pay for what you get, that said it can be a little pricey, however it hits the spot. Whenever I drive past this location I always sing “Pizza Show, Pizza Show, Pizza Show! “
