Bernie’s is the real deal. The food is so good and the price is so reasonable. If I lived out here I would eat here every day. The waitresses were personable and efficient. I loved the friendly banter between them and the locals. Everyone knew each other and the ambiance was the best. I had the BBQ-cole slaw- hush puppies and fries. It was the best comfort food I have had. This place is an institution and represent the people, food and charm of North Carolina

Wow it was like going home for lunch and my mom whipped me up home cooking. So much food . Then when I got up and paid it was $10 are you kidding me. Drink ,main dish and 2 sides. Got back to work and felt like I needed a nap. Worth checking it out. One of Greensboro nc hidden treasures
