It was Sunday morning and the hotel we stayed at recommended this place to have breakfast. The staff is really friendly. We were cheerfully greeted by the Hostess upon arrival who said it would be a 15 minute. We will called about 10 minutes later and escorted to a booth.

This place is an absolute gem and is conveniently located across the street from Costa de Este Resort. Its a no frills, hometown vibe with great service and delicious food. Though they were pretty full, i got seated right away. Haily, my server, was wonderful and very accommodating. I had the chicken and waffles, Cole slaw, and bloody Mary. They make theirs with Sake, which was new to me and surprisingly very good. The chicken strips were perfectly seasoned and the waffles were crunchy and sweet. It came with a side of spicy syrup which made this dish a 10. They also have a huge lunch menu. You’re missing out if you don’t eat here while in Vero Beach!

I’ve heard many good things about Lemon Tree, however we didn’t get to experience that at all! The omelet was so overcooked and blown out also rubbery like. The potatoes seemed like they were cooked from long ago, so dry, comparable to a prebagged frozen continental breakfast potato. The French toast claimed to be a cinnamon vanilla French toast however there was absolutely NO flavor besides the powdered sugar dusting. I couldn’t cut it with a fork it too was also dry.

Excellent!! Denise and her team take customer service and hospitality seriously. We were visiting the area and decided to try the lemon tree for breakfast with our family of 5. All our meals were excellent. From the lobster Benedict to the waffles, French toast, and perfectly cooked bacon and eggs. I love grits but thought the cheesy grits were just mediocre. This is a wonderful venue and we will return. .

ASHLEY is extremely professional, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond any expectations when it comes to providing ultimate customer service! Her smile is contagious and she is so unique! If you live in Vero Beach or just visiting, this is definitely the place to have an extraordinary breakfast or lunch especially if Ashley is your server! Cute bistro on Ocean Ave in Vero. Parking is off street. Brunch type menu. I had the crab cake sandwich and the side Caesar. Good sized sandwich and well dressed salad. Lemonade hit the spot in the afternoon. Friendly staff kept things topped up. Clean facilities. Prices are reasonable for location and portion size.
