I use to love this place and would go there almost every time I visited Tiffin. I knew management changed but I assume they would have hired someone of similar caliber. I don’t know what it was about our appearance but maybe two women in their mid 30’s are always greeted so poorly. When we walked in ( I black pants and sweater with my friend wearing jeans and a sweater ) were asked if we just wanted to sit at the bar despite the place almost being empty. We were planning to order dinner so I asked for a table and was given an awkward look followed by an uncomfortably long pause. The few people in the place were dressed similar but older and each table had a male so perhaps that was the issue. We ordered two appetizers ; the crab cakes and mozzarella balls ( the crab cake recipe has changed they were crumbly and not sticking together at all and they didn’t come with the delightful raspberry sauce that they use to) I ordered a filet medium rare and received a well done filet ( they asked and I told them … even cut to show them there was no pink at all in the filet. The filet tasted decent even though it was not cooked how I wanted). She had lobster bisque which contained two small pieces of brown chunks. For dessert we split a creme brûlée and it was served cold. The waitress we had was amazing and she was the perfect balance of attentive / talkative yet let us have space to enjoy our conversation. My asparagus was cooked perfectly as were the mozzarella balls. The drinks were outstanding. Im not planning on going back but if you do avoid the crab cakes , lobster bisque, steak and if you want the creme brûlée maybe ask if they will heat it as the texture was right but the temperature was as if it were taken straight from the fridge it could be a pleasant experience. Again, the waitress was amazing as were the drinks. It’s unfortunate the hostess and cook were clearly having a difficult time.

The atmosphere was pretty open, which means loud. Nicely decorated. Staff was friendly. Cindy our server wasn’t completely knowledgeable about appetizers, but aware of main entrees. Diligent on acknowledging seafood allergy, and was carried out with caution. The appetizers were ok and the bread was just ok. The entree the potatoes had a great flavor but a bit on dry side. The steak was cooked to perfection and had nice flavor. The brûlée was absolutely delish. Great addition to Tiffin downtown district.

The food and drinks were good. We came from Findlay so the pricing was good as well. The steak was substantially overcooked. I ordered medium rare and there was no red. The replacement steak was slightly better. Based on the remainder of the party. Every other item was great. Just avoid the steak, it wasn’t worth $10 let alone $40. The wife wanted me to toss it but I ate it out of spite considering the cost.

Beautiful building in downtown Tiffin. They are closed between lunch and dinner service. The dinner menu was very well rounded with plenty of choices however not many gluten free choices. The food is outstanding from the appetizers to dessert. The pork chop with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans with an apple chutney was so delicious and the chocolate creme brulee was even better. My husband had the chefs special of a pork loin with a coffee rub and risotto and a chutney. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the gluten choices. Bathrooms were very clean and nicely done. Wish I could give more stars. Will definately be.back.

Excellent food with excellent service. The atmosphere was so inviting. We felt as though we were in New York, looking at the brick walls, with the professional wait staff, and the baby grand piano being played. Great experience. Only negative was the men’s bathroom. The pictures were disturbing to my husband and inappropriate. I don’t think guys need that statement made…

Atmosphere was amazing, from the french onion soup, the flatbread for appetizers and the entrees and dessert all tasted amazing. Our server while busy she also kept apologizing but didnt need to she did a fantastic job and was very spot on regarding the wines and the food.
