This place is a joke I give zero stars considering they close the doors at 7pm it’s dinner time I’m a truck driver and wanted nothing more then a meal to end my day online it says they close at 11pm but I was informed they haven’t stayed open until 11 sins before Covid. This makes zero sense from a business prospective I guess the owners of the establishment don’t want to make money. 7pm closing the doors is ridiculous this is still dinner time and every other restaurant these days is fully operational and are not under Covid restrictions it’s July 31st 2022 quit being lazy and keep your doors open for dinner or just get out of the restaurant business so people don’t get their hopes up expecting to eat a meal after a long day of working and update your facility online in the fact you are not open until 11pm but close at 7. Zero stars considering I’m unable to get zero food and false hope. Only reason they get a stay is because google will not allow me to make a review without giving them a star.

I’m a trucker and I went there to get so food and they were closed it was 7pm and it said they didn’t close till 11pm but they were still working the drive thru but not there lobby and with me driving a semi I can’t go thru the drive thru so if I stop here again ill just go to the burger King.

Made me wait over 15 minutes after telling me it would take 3 through the drive through, I had to go inside to get my food and still wait. When I left the item that took all that extra time to prepare for me, was not even there… they were not busy at all.

So I didn’t even know this was at this location. The place was clean. The staff was extremely friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The chicken was fresh …..and we could tell fried in clean oil and not salty.

If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would. Manager is an A hole. Worse service in my entire life. He ignored us and started yelling. We left without getting any food and we normally love popeye’s. This changed our view. Not sure if we will come back to chain for fried chicken again.

So today I came in and ordered a 3 pc by itself and half a dozen biscuits. The total came out to $14. Then I noticed a sign above the register that mentions how a customer can earn a free 2 pc with a free biscuit if a customer completes a survey. Why not? I just spent $14 and it’ll only take a few minutes. I completed the survey went up to the register and claimed my free offer. Apparently not too many people take advantage of this offer because it took 4 employees at one register to figure out how to ring me up. So when the guy in the blue shirt calls my order up I open the box and there’s just 2 pcs of chicken and no biscuit. Of course I came back to the register and asked “don’t I get a free biscuit as well?” And he says No you don’t because it only comes with a meal. Ummm no. The sign above your head clearly reads a free biscuit. It pained him to give me a free biscuit. I’m not about to keep spending my money here. And maybe y’all should take the sign down if y’all can’t afford to give away free food. And you only got 2 stars because the food was okay.

It is so good that it is bad! I do love my chicken from Popeye’s! I usually get Spicy Boneless Chicken Strips with either mashed potatoes/gravy, beans, or rice. Biscuts are crispy, flaky with a salty butter flavor. Dipping sauce not required but Sweet Heat is a tasty treat. If you have the time, wait for a fresh batch of chicken it is worth it. I try to only eat Popeye’s when I’m on special road trips otherwise I might wind up with a popped belly. Lol I wish packaging was more ecofriendly.
