This is the best wonton soup I have ever had, when I requested for extra green onions to be added to the soup they delivered! Aside from the soup I have liked everything else I have gotten here except for maybe one dish. Overall it’s fast, it’s filling and there is friendly service here!

Lunch buffet at 1:00 had small amounts of cold and old food. We asked them to replenish with fresh and they did not. The food we did eat did not taste good. The only thing good was the watermelon. Would not recommend eating there.

Had the buffet, I really enjoyed the Lo Mein, the Broccoli Beef, and the Fried Dumplings. I tried several other dishes and all were good. Price for the meal was about $16 for the buffet with soda. Definitely plan on eating here again.

I went to the Dragon J for dinner last night and was very disappointed in the restaurant. I would like to start off with the thing I liked. The kids prices were actually tailored to about how much the kid may eat and is fairly priced for the kids. Adults however, had to pay about 15$ each for the very poor selection in the two meager tables of food. We got there, the place was small and maybe half full. The kitchen would be very slow to get the food buckets full, and when they would put it out finally, there would be a dash to get the good stuff before it was gone. They had 3 kinds of shrimp there but it was all either par or worse. Everything that you got up there was dry and over cooked by the heat lamps or in the cooking process. The foods slow arrival was also accompanied by small portions. It seemed like they only brought out 1-2 plates worth of food at a time. They had the pans covered with plastic wrap and they would put the food on top of that and it all just kinda sunk down in the middle and looked like a 1/4 portion. The ice cream was a good selection…. but the station where the ice cream scoop was kept, was disgusting at best. One scooper sitting in water that looked like used toilet water. For the 4 of is to eat, it was 43$. This was way too much for such subpar food. Kansas City has much better buffets for the same price or cheaper and they have a much much larger selection. In conclusion, the china dragon J Chinese buffet if easily passed up as an option for eating on any night. I think I will be choosing cheese and crackers instead of wasting gas to try and choke down this garbage bin again. Easily 0-1 stars out of 5.

I have been trying to stay a customer because the food is good, BUT this is the last straw. Call in, the person who answered was again very abrasive and abrupt when asked questions about delivery. By the way they don’t deliver. (Update site) gave my order was abruptly told 10m. Got there order was not ready. Got home order was incorrect and the egg rolls were refried to dry. Egg fo hung was not as flavorful as in the past asked for fried rice, got steamed. Goodbye China Dragon J.

Decent Chinese buffet available, the only in Lee’s Summit. Never dealt with quality issues. Recommend the peanut chicken. Charming woman has worked there long-term and does well with kids.
