The Broken Egg is by far the best breakfast experience I have ever had. This place has the cutest farmhouse aesthetic and plays great country music. Took a trip to Muskegon for 3 days and we came here all 3 mornings. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend.

First time here service was excellent . Food was delicious, too. And drinks were good. Will definitely be going back. I had the carne omelet. I loved it because it was filled with meat. My husband had the strawberry stuffed French toast. It’s really good. Overall, it was good, and I will definitely be going back. The Downside is they were short staffed, but the server did give us a heads up about the food taking a little longer but didn’t bother us.

The breakfast burrito was amazing! The veggie omelette was delicious as well and was a huge portion. The service was fast and friendly. This is a great little breakfast spot. I highly recommend and will be back.

My parents, husband, daughters and I decided to stop here for a brunch time meal. The menu was so unique and the atmosphere was very friendly with cute farmhouse decor. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The fried chicken was seasoned perfectly and the waffles were tasty. The portions were very generous and service was fairly quick. Our server was very nice. My 5 year old and 10.5 month old thoroughly enjoyed the French toast and some eggs along with bites of fried chicken. My dad and husband were also happy with their meals. I am so glad we chose this place and will return if we are back in the area.

I’m just going to start by saying this was one of the best dine in breakfasts I’ve ever had. And that’s saying a lot because going out for breakfast/brunch is my favorite weekend activity, so I’ve had a lot of breakfast foods.

If I could give zero I would. Melinda server was very slow, but had time to play on phone. Had to go to bar to ask for coffee and another beermosa. Food came out cold. Potatoes and sausage links not full cooked and eggs were over medium instead of over easy and cold. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and waffles has not flavor and was warm. After telling Melinda what happened, manager does not even address and Melinda could I ly make excuses. Thank goodness I did not have to pay for food we could not eat. Will not give second chance. I am a previous family restaurant owner due to death of relatives could not carry on tradition too many memories and this is unacceptable.

Happy, Chill, & Laid Back! This place is a Real Gem with a GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!! Cartoons were playing on one of the tvs (seems very kid friendly). Everyone was all smiles and full of energy even at the end of their shifts! The food was absolutely Delicious!! Their chicken looks very crispy but it literally melts in your mouth!! The Cherry Stuffed French Toast and Ham n Cheese Omelet disappeared with quick intent!! The portions are huge and I dare say sharable size for 2 people! I had the cranberry mimosa (again very delish) and next time want to try the other flavors! We Will Be Back!! Highly Recommended!!

The Broken Egg is a great place to get breakfast! Their portions are generous, the food is delicious, and their staff are friendly. My recommendation for first-timers would be the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken has a tasty, crunchy breading, and the chicken itself is perfectly cooked and juicy. The sweet and savory combination is amazing.
