Our family’s new favorite restaurant We are so happy we found Southeast Asian food near us! You can’t find this flavor anywhere else in TC. My husband (he’s Cambodian) said it tastes just like his mom’s food. Not only was the food delicious, but the customer service was amazing!!! I came in with my daughter (who is almost 2) to pick up our food and they were wonderful with her. They even brought the food out to my car. I can’t wait to come in again soon ☺️

Highly recommended! We were running late and arrived just 30 minutes before they closed. The owner greeted us at the counter and before we could say that we were sorry for arriving so late and we’d like to get it to go, he invited us in and said no problem, just sit down and take your time. No rush. And the food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-! We ordered Drunken Noodles and Yellow Curry Pad Thai. Bon Appetite! Our complements to the chef.

If you are in Traverse City, your taste buds would be blessed by a stop at this WONDERFUL place to eat. Run by a sweet young couple, and featuring a fusion of Cambodian & Laotian cuisine – Sam (she is the “Sam” in Samsara) explained that the recipes are simply the home cooked dishes her mom used to make. I’m dreaming about going back soon for the green curry (and I don’t even like eggplant!) Make sure to call and make reservations if you want to dine in after 3:30 as the owners tag team in order to be present with their young children at home. What’s not to love about that?!? In a city full of ‘overpriced and underwhelming’, this is a refreshing addition to the food scene in Traverse City. Thai inspired with Cambodian & Laos influences, you won’t find a dish here that doesn’t deliver on flavor, even if that flavor differs slightly from what you may be use to. Different is good. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. We just wish we didn’t live 4 hrs away because this would be in our weekly rotation.
