You have to hope your food will be good when the person leaving as you walk in says, “This is the best restaurant in Idaho Falls”. And honestly, Yummy House is definitely in our Top 3. Who knew this place would be such a gem?

I got the beef chow fun with black been after seeing a photo of it on another review. I’m always trying to find a meal with meat AND noodles. Finally found one! The beef chow is neutral in flavor.

Food was delicious!!! Service was very friendly. The seseme chicken had a flavorful and crisp coating. The chicken and vegetables were fresh and filling. Overall a great find in the middle of downtown IF. Parking was difficult, but it was worth the short walk to get there, even in the snow. We will definitely go again.

This place was amazing. The food was delicious, and our server was very kind. We didn’t have to wait long for our food at all once we ordered. The prices were good too. I had the orange chicken and it was perfect. The chicken was moist and cooked to perfection, and the breading was crispy but not too thick or doughy. Everything was great, 10/10 would go there again!

The Singing rice Seafood had very little seafood in it. I would not recommend it. The sweet and sour chicken was good. The staff was very friendly despite being understaffed.

An unassuming looking restaurant, but a gem for sure. The Chinese American food is delicious. Clearly they know how to cook well and incorporate flavors into the dishes. We had broccoli beef and orange chicken with lo mien. The beef was very tender, broccoli was cooked perfectly. Orange chicken is the best orange chicken I’ve had from a Chinese restaurant, it has a vibrant flavor and I always wish I had more of it.

Don’t sleep on this place. The food is great! To be 100% honest, I wouldn’t ever think of eating at a place called Yummy House, but after extensive research and diving into the menu, I really wanted to eat the jjamppong (spicy seafood soup). My friend got the Lo Mein or chow mein. Not sure which one, but they can do different styles of the lo mein. The hot tea was very nice, but should have skipped on the appetizers. Nothing special. The service was good. Very attentive. If I’m ever back in town, I will have that soup again!

The Chicken Curry was a fragrant masterpiece. The tender chicken pieces were immersed in a rich, flavorful curry sauce that had just the right balance of spices. It was mildly spicy, allowing the flavors to shine through without overwhelming the palate. The addition of vegetables added a refreshing touch, providing a delightful contrast to the creamy curry.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – Beef Brisket in Clay Pot (B11) was great in flavoring and texture for the beef. The sauce was thicker than expected but good nonetheless. Unfortunately had a piece of plastic in the dish

This is the BEST Chinese food restaurant in Idaho Falls. I have tried all of the other Chinese food restaurants at least once. Yummy House is the only one I want to go back to time after time. Their General Tso chicken is a must try. It hits the spot almost every time for me. I’ve had all their lo Mein and the beef is amazing. My wife loves their beef and broccoli and won’t try anything else. Each meal is large amount of food, so you feel satisfied that you got what you paid for. The breading on meat doesn’t fall off like a lot of other places. The chicken and meat is tender and not dried out like it’s been cooked or warmed up a few times. The sauces are very flavorful. The food is good. The employees here are always so polite and pleasant to talk to. I’ve never felt out of place coming here to eat. This is a place that if they sold t-shirts, I would want to buy one. You know what I mean?
