Wow! If you haven’t been here, you need to try it. Service was fast and friendly. Food was amazing and cheap. I had the burrito combo for lunch and it was very generous portions. The taco shell was crisp and all was so tasty. Look forward to returning soon.

This is a FANTASTIC local owned mexican restaurant that you absolutely have to try. Their breakfast burritos are on point with best I have ever had. Pictured is the 3 meat special I chose chorizo, bacon and sausage . All burritos have fried potatoes and eggs and cheese. It was stuffed and the tortilla was thin and griddled. Chorizo was spicy and not greasy, sausage and bacon was delicious. Paired with their house made salsas you cant go wrong. The brown habenero was fire!

We found this resteraunt after moving here. It was so yummy and the staff so kind, I am sad to say, however in the past 8 months there was a significant change. They lost the normal cook, and I heard the family had taken over. This has changed so much of what we loved about the establishment. The food has changed, the staff seems slower and stressed, and the processing time from order to delivery is outrageously long for pickup, I went in one day and was told it would be a 30 min wait for an order of tacos.

The food here is amazing! I got a carne asada torta and it was delicious! I highly recommend trying it (the person taking our order was really nice and the service was fast). Definitely planning on going back to try more of their food and aguas frescas.

El Gordo is hands down, my favorite Mexican restaurant in Wichita. They have never gotten my order wrong and the flavor and quality of the food is by far the best in my opinion. Make sure to give them a try!

First time trying El Gordo. It did not disappoint! I ordered the Colorado Burrito and it is HUGE. Big enough for 2 meals. It has steak, cheese and potatoes. I also ordered carne Asada tacos and they were delicious!! I will definitely go back!!

Worse fish tacos ever! They probably just warmed them up and served them. They’re all dried with no flavor and lettuce instead of cabage. I’m so disappointed and I do not recommend this place. Also, the beans are salty and the rice all dried . No a good place to eat.
