Came here with family last night while we were in town. The food was pretty good! It came out fairly quickly which we were happy about. We were starving! The garage doors were open, which made it really nice to sit in doors but still have the breeze/sun on you, but then the person sitting facing the garage doors had the sun right in their eyes the entire time as the sun was setting. I should have sat facing away from the sun but that’s really the only complaint!

Pistol Pete’s has a location at the state fair, and I adored their s’mores cake last year. This year, they changed the recipe and it sucks now. It was my #1 item at the fair, one that I would end every day with, and that’s why it’s so disappointing that they changed the recipe. The cake tasted like a flour less vegan cake or something, and sandwiching a cake in Graham crackers is stupid when guests don’t get knives to cut them with. You can’t cut a Graham cracker with a plastic fork!

State Fair – Wednesday, August 9. I had the BBQ and bacon pizza. $10 for a 10 inch pizza is a very good price at the fair, plus it was very good. Service was very good, especially the young lady who was sweeping up the mess someone else made by my bar stool. Nearby music and people watching made for a good atmosphere. I would recommend Pistol Pete’s and give it a definite thumbs up.

We stopped (4 of us) on 8/30 to order a pizza and a sandwich. The service was OK to start but after an hour waiting for a pizza it got a bit nonsensical. We were not updated during the hour wait (light crowd at beast) and our sausage , pep and onion pizza literally had no sausage. No reasonable explanation from our server on the extreme wait either. I know help is hard to find but at least keep your customers updated which did not happen. Too bad this used to be a good place to eat.

Took me an hour and a half to get my pizza, was lied to when my order was misplaced or not ordered and said it was in the oven. Severe ceiling leak and hotter then heck in the restaurant. Get some competent employees with some customer service skills!!!!!

I had a Friday fish fry and my wife had a salad, both meals were excellent. I understand that a lot of businesses are facing staff shortages and trying to maintain a thriving to go segment. It was noticeable that the staff was running their tail’s off trying to accommodate the dining room but it detracts from an otherwise excellent experience.

Haven’t been there in three years wanted to try the prime rib not a good choice queen cut looked great but went cut it was like cutting a shoe and was 35 bucks .I did get a pizza to go asked for extra sauce wrong you don’t need that. Was a sorry experience.

Had a celebration of life party after a funeral here. Pizza was awesome and all staff made sure we were well taken care of. Bartender was a boss and served everyone quickly! Thank you for everything.
