Ordered the Prime Rib Burger. It was delicious. I would go back again just for the burger. The waitress was friendly and a hard worker. She could use a bit more support though as there were gaps in time we could have used a refill of our drinks but didn’t happen until food was delivered. It was a busy Friday evening so can’t fault the waitress. Prices were stretching it a bit but all right.

Had reservations for Saturday night and when we got there at 6 they were out of pretty much everything. I went to use the restroom and just walked out because it was so dirty in there. Felt like I was in an old abandoned barn. Took us about 30 min to order because our waitress kept coming back to the table to tell us they were out of things. Just overall not a pleasant experience. Drinks were alright, it’s what you can expect from a dive bar type place. The manager or owner Anna has no idea how to run a restaurant and embarrassed herself by coming to the table to rudely apologize for our poor experience. She was more worried about the cowboys at the bar. We drive through Mackay all the time but we will never waste our time again here!

This is a small steak house. The food was really good. When we were there only one employee showed up. She was handling the bar, waitressing, and cooking. She did a great job of juggling everything. More help arrived as we were leaving.

Save yourself! Unsanitary. We were told that this was THE place to go. We planned our whole camping trip around their Saturday night prime rib. We got there at open and we ordered drinks. When our drinks came they told us that they didn’t have prime rib. We would have left, but decided to stay bc we had drinks. We ordered and I went to the restroom. Remember… Our group walked in at opening… the bathroom was HORRIFIC. The trash can was an average kitchen size can that was overflowing. It had not been dumped in DAYS. The toilets had matter on them. I got back to the table and saw that the food was steakhouse prices, but looked less appealing than the delightful burger joint up the road.

The prime rib was cold. I ordered Med Well. It wasn’t even close. There was blood on my plate..when sent back they had it for about 2 minutes and it was not even done correctly. It took an hour and a half to get our meals and everything was just barely warm. I gave it a 3 because the people that served us were exceptional.
