Food was great! Had the patriot burger, med rare. Cooked perfectly. Burger was so juicy. Prawns appetizer was on point. Priced appropriately for the quality and portion size. Can’t wait to try other menu items.

I had my fourth meal at Buck’s. I love the fish and fries but it was different the second time I tried it. Not the same at all.!!! The burger was average and fries were frozen. I like family friendly but with parents who are teaching their children how to behave in a restaurant. It felt like a cafeteria. I like a peaceful meal. And I want to expect that the way they prepare the meal will stay consistent. The desert was Costco. That was disappointing. I can say yes to the fish. The rest of the meals at our table after 4 visits are average and the fries change with presentation on the fish and chips. If you want peaceful …. NOT A CHANCE !

I finally made it to Bucks to see how far they’d come from the days of Ocalhans and at first I was pleased that it is cleaner that it was back then. However not by a lot. I went in on a Saturday evening about 7pm for dinner. Our table was wobbly and it took a few minutes to get service. We had to wait longer than normal for refills also….never a good sign in a bar. We both had burgers and fries, they came super basic (no lettuce or tomato, just burger and bun) and the fries were clearly from the freezer and were super under done. The grand total was $80 and I won’t be going back. It’s just not that good for the price. And I stand by my original thought that the new owners didn’t out enough time or effort into cleaning and repairing that place before opening again.

Tonight is the second night I feel that the food was less than par. I have recommended this restaurant to many of my family and friends. Tonight my steak was beyond rare, and the potato came with no sour cream and butter. I asked for both and received frozen sour cream and no butter. My husband’s chicken wings were obviously micro-waved because they were cooked but cold. The last time i brought friends to show them the new steak house in the area and I had to leave the table several times to get refill on our drinks. When we asked for extra napkins the waitress said she was busy waiting on everyone. The food and drinks tonight for my husband and I totalled 79 dollars, at those prices I expect better quality food and service. Not sure I will go back. Fool me once shame on me fool me twice shame on you.

Very good food, good to above average service. The NEGATIVE is the outrageous prices considering the atmosphere. It’s a neighborhood bar & grill………….fairly average to “dumpy” atmosphere. The same food elsewhere is less than half the prices. These prices are what one might expect to pay at a top notch classy restaurant with a view and more “amenities”. We will never go back.

Great food…especially the burgers. Breakfast is well above average in flavor and quantity. Service is personable, but food takes longer than expected to arrive asst the table. An interior remodel would make the experience more enjoyable. Thanks for serving our community.

Today I took my wife to an early dinner about 1515. We decided to give restaurant a try. The wait staff was wonderful. However, as my wife and I turned we could see into the kitchen where your kitchen staff proceeded to touch the sample platter we ordered with out gloves and I mean all of the food, we decided to give it a try anyways. Our sample arrived and so did are crab dip which was not a dip need less to say the crab was expired, so we returned it. We beared through the burnt onion rings and under cooked mushrooms and ate the cheese sticks, the best part of the meal so far. My wife’s smokehouse burger and my blue cheese burger arrived. As I ate my under flavored burger my wife took two bites of hers and handed it to me. Not thrilled with the food we called it quits and headed home. we were out of the bar by 1545 just to make it home where my wife proceeded to get sick. Ruined the date night completely. Your bar staff was the best part of our evening. We will go back for drinks but I do not think we will attend for any meal again.

Recommended by since locals while we were out here fishing. Great. Super friendly staff. Yummy food. Excellent food. Don’t let the crossroads exterior fool you. It’s a total local pub with five-star chef. Real pub feel. Would come back again.
