Absolutely disgusting. They only has one row of food open which half of was empty. The food that was there was clearly old and had been there for far too long. We were there well over an hour and not one thing was filled or freshened up the entire time. They also have signs saying you will be charged extra if you waste food??? This place should really not even be in business.

Extremely Rude Lady at Register. Simply ordered a Quart of White Rice for an ill family member. She said, “That’s all.” With a whole attitude. I said Thank you upon checkout. She didn’t respond, so I said it again. She smirked and I told her when someone says Thank you, your response should be, You’re Welcome. Heck after reading these reviews, she should very well be thanking me. Unsure why folk are patronizing this establishment. If I could give Zeros, I would. Drive to Wallace, NC for well seasoned food and outstanding service.

My chicken tasted like boiled eggs and when told about it was possible bad grease the lady caught an attitude saying to check her kitchen because it’s all clean and walked away also was disturbed by loud Trump talk and how people receiving unemployment are being lazy. Very unpleasant visit & me & my family have come here for years. The lady was rude & acted as if we were a bother.

Used to eat here long time ago. Nowadays the place has been remodeled and looks really nice, but the food there is way below expectations. The staff was friendly and the waitress was very tentative. Couple of hours before dinner time so that may have been the reason behind the food. Zengs Palace across town is much better.

The owner was waiting tables today for whatever reason. She is normally kind and pleasant! Today she was not having a good day! I don’t know what the problem was but she was ill, and short with me and other customers! She was not pleasant at all. I didn’t get a refill if my drink while I was eating, and when I asked her to give me a cup of drink to go, she wanted to charge me for it. When the cashier checked me out, he asked me if everything was ok. I said not really, he didn’t even ask me what was wrong! I have patronized them a long time! Even when others talked down about them and their food, I kept coming because I like the food. I don’t know when I’ll be returning there to eat! In the meantime, I will be praying for her!
