This place was great. One of my favorite places I ate at while visiting the lakes. Recommend this to family and friends that are planning on making the trip. Not a TON of food options but good variety in the options they have (not gonna get lost reading through a large menu). Wine cocktails were great as well. There was a live band playing while we were there and made evening even more enjoyable

Our dinner was $125 with tip. No drinks, just 1 appetizer, 2 entrees a side of fries. For that price we would have expected some quality food at least, however, it was hilariously bad. Tough, overcooked NY strip steak (cut in half?) with a soggy piece of romain thrown on top. The salmon was frozen tasting, not hot and accompanied by a heap of tasteless spinach slop. The ricotta toast was a barely grilled piece of bread with plain ricotta, raw sliced almond on top. Fries were 100% plain from a bag. The plating presentation was bizarre. Absolutely no flavor AT ALL to anything.

First time at Main Deck and the experience was fantastic. The views were awesome from our table, their deck space views were even better. For early May we had gorgeous weather to go out and snapped some photos. The front of the house was super friendly and the server/service was quick and correct. We ordered the smash burger and salmon entrees and couldn’t stop raving about them later in the night. Will be back, and telling all our family and friends to go too!

We stopped at main deck for lunch and were so happy we did. We ordered the cheese steak and fried chicken sandwich and they were amazing. The peach margarita was one of the best margaritas I’ve had. The waiter was so knowledgeable about the menu and very personable. We had such a great experience we went back a few days later for dinner which was just as amazing. I would 100% go back when we come back to visit the area

Very nice looking place to dine. Ordered ad “Perfect Manhattan with Rye” which was made like a Standard Manhattan. The Burrata appetizer was tasty, but the bread to spread ratio was way of, not enough bread. My husbands meal was fine (lobster risotto) but my NY Strip was all wrong, Stake ordered “Medium” was done “Well”, Gratin Potatoes tasted only like Asiago, Asparagus was not cookie – it looked pale and was unseasoned. Creme Brulee for dessert was nice. The staff was friendly, especially it being a very snowy and slow day.

Had a wonderful experience with our family of 9. Service and bar staff were great. Apps came out within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Food quality was top notch although the crab cakes could have been spicier. The chef’s new corn fritters were a hit I’ve seen recent reviews. Clearly this restaurant is upping its game. Ambience is stunning and culinary experience is one of the best in the Finger Lakes region.

What a place!!! Ambience is great, Penn Yan boats with a lake design. I had the steak presentation, rare. It was delightfully seasoned and char grilled to perfection. The side dishes and starters were all top notch and perfectly balanced with their tastes.

My husband, daughter and I just had a wonderful dinner at Main Deck! Vanessa was our waitress and she was absolutely fantastic! Next time we come we are going to request her as our waitress! The food was delicious! We had the crab cakes, salmon, and the Schnitzel! Delicious!! We will be back!
