Good breast. Really nice ribs. I like the slaw I don’t like overly sweet slaw I don’t like sloppy slaw and I really enjoyed it. Beans had really good seasoning and salt balance I really wish they were a little sweeter but that’s my particular. I like having a not overly sweets barbecue sauce and I love the fact that they serve them dry

I enjoy the laid back, self serve type, atmosphere. You can refill your own drink. Some folks aren’t used to this, however, I like it. The BBQ has a great flavor. I swap up and eat it dry sometimes and other times I smother it with their good sauce. I’ve tried about everything on the menu, you really can’t go wrong. The BBQ sundae is always a great tasty option. Is it a 4 star restaurant, no, but a damn good place to enjoy some good BBQ.

I purchased 1 full slab and 11/2 slab, baked beans, wings to carry-out. Got home and had 11 bones worth of ribs. Beans were like pork and beans. Ribs were very over-cooked. Paid way too much for this meal. Staff was very friendly but I would have been to. Have to try a place to know what it is like. Now I know.

Brought my family today and the lady that works up front got frustrated with me because I didn’t order my sandwiches all at the same time. I ordered each persons meal individually. She acted flustered and started murmuring that I need to order them all at same time. She turned to kitchen cook and sighed loudly and then said they can figure it out at the table, just fix the sandwiches. Then she argued with me that I didn’t order the sides (which I ordered but she was paying more attention to the cook in the back and had such an attitude she didn’t hear me). We walked in expecting a good meal and left frustrated. My 10 yo daughter observed everything and said “I don’t want to come back here.”

We tried this for the first time today. Pleased with the service, speed, and food. Got the daily special of chicken quarter and ribs with two sides and a bread as well as a pulled pork sandwich with two sides. No complaints on anything we ordered! We also got free drinks (with refills) to go with our meals.

We eat here alot and for the most part the food is good. The service isn’t great all the time and today they didn’t have any smoked chicken???, not sure why if that is one of there menu items. I told them my order was to go and added a few side items. My food was not brought out to go nor did it contain any of the extra side items I paid for. Make sure to check your order. This isn’t the first they have shorted me.

I had the pulled pork plate with the potato salad and Mac and chs for the sides. Very satisfying! BBQ sauce and pork was flavorful, Mac and chs had a very nice depth and creaminess. The chunks of potato in the salad were large and reminded me of my grandma’s. This place pulled at my heartstrings a bit! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest!

Beans were so good but not crazy bout the brisket dry. The guy took our order was college looking student with glasses Asked us if we needed our receipt but threw it away n my husband was disturbed n we wanted to eat their but put in our order as togo but we still sat there while others come n go. Peach cobbler was not what i was hoping it would be. the black dude,he checked on us n took care of us n our drinks n i felt blessed but the other frat guy didn’t seem to fit in. Trashy onions was really good n the tea was awesome but too sweet but got it half n half n i was sooo happy. Our order might have gotn mixed up from the way the frat guy with glasses took it but it sat there but the frat guy never checked on it. First timers
