Everyone is very welcoming, and the owner is very nice and attentive! The food…omg I fell in love with the brisket flautas, so good! We also ordered kids grilled cheese with brisket. A cowboy combo that my husband thoroughly enjoyed. And I had the McSkinny that I thought would be small. But no, it’s is fully loaded & delicious. We will be back for probably the best BBQ we have had in a long time!!!

When we walked in, there was the perfect music playing (George Strait “All my Ex’s live in Texas”). The staff were super friendly and explained the menu in detail. The food was amazing! Definitely coming back to Skinny’s. Make sure you try the “Mac Attack”.

It was the first time there and we meet the owner and he was so attentive and shared his story. Mr. Skinny started his self made ‘que journey during the pandemic. Wife got tired of trying his recipes so he fed the neighbors so he could perfect his recipes. Started a food truck that had success in the 1st year that allowed them to grow into a brick & mortar. Now they are looking to expand their skinny family into other areas around town. His recipes were unique to me. He makes & sells his own rub & BBQ sauce. I was fond of the BBQ it was a sweet tangy taste. I like sweet. Their coleslaw was different, sweet not creamy with nuts & I think it was pineapple. Take a chance on it. I’m not a Mac n Cheese girl but I gave it a try, if I recall it had green chilies in it. The day I went there was no chicken so I’m making it a point to go back and try it. My fav that day was the pulled pork. Ribs were fall of the bone delicious (and I am not a rib person either).

Brisket was moist with a nice bark, served with the fat, Ribs were average and sausage was good. The fries were burnt and it tasted like they were cooked earlier and refried to refresh them

Great little spot. Good customer service. Food came out fresh and hot. The fries were crispy, warm and had good seasoning. I got the porky melt and it had great flavor. The only thing I wish is since it comes with hatch green Chile queso was a little more spice but my palate may like a little more heat. I also wish they had sweet tea. They have cold sodas and water. Overall good experience for a reasonable price if you haven’t stopped by I would recommend it for a quick and quality bite of food

Waaay better than the place that was here before. The brisket was fire with a nice bark, the pulled pork moist that never dried and the ribs were nicely cooked. Although not a connoisseur on barbq but lived in Wichita KS, in Tennessee and in Austin Tx.not to mention in midland Tx. Tasted all of it and this meat can compete with them all. They started in a lunch truck and move to this place. Loved it and my kids did too.
