When we walked in there were no other customers. The restaurant did not have a food smell or a bread baking aroma. The waiter was nice. When we received the bread cubes they were warm on the outside but ice cold on the inside. Hence no fresh bread smell. The chicken parmigiana was ok. The pasta and salmon was just that. Hopefully things get better for this place. I am all about supporting local business man.

You must try their brick oven pizza! It’s delicious and cooked to perfection. The dough is soft with a crispy crust, not tough and hard to chew. Only the best ingredients are used, overflowing with real cheese, choice meats and fresh vegetables. No canned ingredients! I love the kalamata olives they use, it gives a real italian flair. The sauce is light and delicious. Hands down, this place has the best pizza in town. Mon-Wed you can get a large pizza for $10.00!!! What a great value! The dining experience is very relaxing and intimate with a very friendly, attentive staff. I highly recommend La Perla

I first went to this restaurant months ago and enjoyed the experience. Good service and pretty decent food. I returned here a few nights ago to try the pizza I saw such great reviews on and I was highly disappointed. If I had tried the pizza the first night, I would have not returned here. I tried the ‘ogna cosi’ I think it was called. In short, this was the most bland pizza I have ever tasted in my entire life. How can pizza even be bland? The crust is a good consistency and that’s the only good thing to say about it. No flavor whatsoever.

Great food our server evan was very friendly and helpful I love the food. It has became my girlfriend favor very classy and nice quite environment highly recommend it. But future tip bring your on steak sauce they don’t have none. But that still doesn’t stop them from having amazing food the worth the price.

The food was good however my waitress Deana was completely clueless, didn’t know what dressings were available, returned with the wrong dressing we requested, 20 minutes later returned to verify our order that she had not sent to the kitchen. Our experience would have been a lot better if it weren’t for the incompetence of one person. Not sure if I’ll return.

The restaurant is cute nice little atmospher food was ok not really the best, our waitress looked like something that came out of the gutter, shirt all wrinkled hair a mess n had a huge bull nose ring in her nose which to me seems very inappropriate n unappealing when dealing with customers face to face, nothing neat or professional about her at all she seemed strange or possibly on drugs idk she didnt introduce herself she just approached us and said “you folks ready” she would stare at us like say something and kinda pause looking confussed n stare….very strange! I do believe the wait staff needs alot more training…i had the 2 stuffed shrimp with crabmeat fettuccine noodles in a lobster sauce it was good except for the stuffed shrimp n crabmeat it tasted aweful like it might of been bad im not sure… definately wasnt impressed on my first visit

The food was horrible. Well, the Stuffed Flounder was. The crab meat was imitation, the shrimp we’re raw and the vegetable’s we’re undercooked also. The only bright side was the cute waitress in training. Haha

I just moved to La Porte and the first thing I did was search for an italian restaurant So I went to La Perla and tried their vegetarian pizza.It’s the best pizza I’ve ever tasted! The staff is awesome and I will be going back at least once a week to try all of their plates!

The food is always cold and has no taste. I have come back three times thinking maybe it was due to them being so new, but I haven’t seen any improvement. The service has been terrible, even being the only table occupied in the building.
