Typically overpriced Ritz so I shouldn’t have expected much. $75 for a new York steak that was basically two narrow strips of cut steak. It was less than one half of a steak. The shrimp entree was over cooked. The pasta entree was average for a bowl of $42 pasta, no protein. One entree was forgotten to be put in by the server. We passed on having it delivered 15 min after the rest of the group was served. Drink order took 20 minutes – again a server issue. Like I said, I’ve been to captive resort restaurants and should have known better. Oh, parking was $25. Nice to drop $500+ for 5people and end up with this. If you have a choice, go elsewhere.

The restaurant has a very nice and upscale atmosphere. I had the NY Strip steak which was about 16oz and it was absolutely delicious. It was cooked just how I asked, perfectly pan seared, and the flavor was outstanding.

Amazing people and incredible food. Rated one of my top restaurants ever. Well worth the pricing.. Brandon was helping us for the night and made us feel at home. We had a great time at the lovely Manzanita, at the Ritz Carlton. We enjoyed appetizers including the Gamba (Prawns) and Brussel Sprouts, along with wine and specialty cocktails. Our server Gabby was energetic and sweet. Loved it here!

Craig, the on-duty manager was very professional. He turned the fireplace on for us and very attentaive to any of our requests. Our waitress, Ali was warm and engaging. She took time to tell us about all the menu choices. We never felt rushed to choose. Needless to say, our dining experience was an A+. Especially dessert. The Manzanita is location inside The Ritz Carlton, Lake Tahoe.

The waitress and host staff were ok. We requested a window seat when we made our RSVP but were made to wait because the waitress in that area didn’t want to take any more tables. The $75 aged NY Strip was hard and overcooked. The carrots and broccolini were raw and unseasoned. My child actually threw up his hamburger patty after eating it. My daughter’s pasta was unseasoned. My drink took about 20 minutes to arrive. The men’s bathroom was literally flooded… I opened the door and stepped into a pool of water. Overall, very disappointed. The $300 meal had a value of approximately $100. We go to Navio at the Ritz Half Moon Bay often and have never had anything but great things to say. We were expecting the same here and it just didn’t come close. The bread was good.
