Came to this restaurant because the reviews were good. The service was good but the food was not. Our food literally came out less than 5 minutes after we ordered! Suspiciously quick. The beef on the beef tacos was so hot, like maybe it was microwaved? The chicken on my nachos was less than desirable. I also found the kids meals to be a little pricey for what they were.

What a fantastic Mexican restaurant! The staff were incredible, going out of their way to assist us, like blocking the sunlight. While the food was slightly salty for my taste, we still enjoyed it. The portions are quite generous, so be mindful not to over-order.

So mixed feelings on this place. Service is excellent so about as soon as you order, you get your food. Now, that can be both good and bad. Good because it’s super fast but bad because that means food is just sitting in the kitchen warming. I agree with what some say that the food doesn’t have a lot of taste but cheese dip makes everything taste better, am I right?! The portions are large. I barely touched my fajita nachos after eating cheese dip, salsa, and chips.

Basically was ignored by wait staff after we were seated, and when drinks finally arrived, they were wrong. The food was mediocre at best, And it looked as though the cook had failed to drain the grease off of the ground beef in my burrito. After eating, I went to wash up and The bathroom had just been cleaned nicely, But there was absolutely no toilet paper available. Upon telling the cashier About the greasy burrito She acted as though it didn’t really sink in and ask if I had told my waiter, But never offered any discount or coupon for future use. Not that I would use it, as I don’t intend to return and make the same mistake twice.

A friend and I ate here last night and the service was not up to expectations. We walked in and there were multiple waiters hanging around… no on acknowledged our presence, and when we did finally get seated, a guy came by and practically threw down the chips and salsa… he clearly did not want to be there. When our dinner came, it was acceptable but not as good as it used to be years ago. No need to go back when there are better restaurants to go to.

Nice people who are attentive to needs and get your food out to you hot and quickly. Best Mexican food in Jefferson City when you factor price, quality and service.
