I don’t like giving anything but five stars but for someone who orders often, I was sad to see how my sandwich arrived today. It arrive with no meat and was poorly made, never had this happen before. Freaky fast is always nice but slowing down and making sure the orders are correct could prevent these errors.

I had a taste for my favorite sandwich at Jimmy John’s which is the all veggie sub. I stopped in today (Monday, May 22) at the downtown Chattanooga location on Market street. I had never been there because there’s no free parking, but it was the closest to my destination so I didn’t mind paying for parking to grab a bite to eat today. I walked in and two young ladies had their backs turned in a discussion. The one that ended up taking my order was the young AA girl pictured, Midlane as listed on the receipt. She offered no smile or pleasant greeting, she actually frowned at me like she was upset about something maybe from her conversation with her coworker. Well, I ignored her frown and proceeded to order the veggie sub and chips. Then I realized I needed to add my phone number for my rewards, which normally the cashier asks me before I even order. Midlaine, didn’t ask me if I wanted to use my rewards and when I asked her to wait so I could enter my number, the frown appeared again. I was really tempted to say “I hope your day gets better because you obviously are having a hard day today,” but I didn’t say anything at this point. As the other young lady was making my sub, I said oh, I actually wanted the full sub not a half. Then Midlane frowned again and said well you need to ask for the full sub, I’d had enough at this point and I was like “well, you work here and you could’ve asked me.” It was the way she said it along with the frown on her face that was disrespectful. I asked for the manager and he made everything better and took over for her. He even asked what I wanted on my sandwich, which was proper customer service. I’m grateful for his intervention. However, some employees are not meant to be the “face” of your business. Midlane is still young and I want to encourage her and other young people the world is yours. Don’t get stuck in a job you hate. Find your passion because if you don’t you end up ruining a lot customer’s experiences because your unhappy. My food was good and I left satisfied because of how the manager listened to my concern.

The order was slow, the. My bread was burnt on the bottom. This ruined the taste of my sub. I’ve been other jimmy johns they take pride in being fast and offering quality products. This is not the case here hopefully my next experience is better.

I haven’t order in a while, but after the service and treatment I got today. I won’t be back. I got my sandwich a hour after I ordered it, and after I called and asked for a refund. The manager was very unapologetic for my wait and didn’t show any customer service manners. His attitude made my experience with Jimmy John’s service freaky horrible. Please make sure you train managers to be understanding when people pay their money they want excellent service and food!

I order from here two to three times a week. The last several orders have all taken more than an hour to arrive and the sandwich shows up a soggy mess. I’m writing this while still waiting on a sandwich I ordered over an hour ago. And this store is only three blocks away. I used to order here because it’s decent food, at a low price, delivered fairly quickly. Now it’s soggy sandwiches that take forever. I’m done dealing with this place.

Really nice location across the street from Miller Park. They have a great dining area but currently you can only do takeout since the dining room is closed due to Covid-19 precautions. The service was quick and friendly. Paid parking is available all around so finding a spot wasn’t a problem. I noticed a lot of people from nearby businesses stop in to pick up their call in or web orders. They have NFC payments
